9. Silent Charms

"Tell me everything." Anne had caught me in the corridor on my way to the great hall. Natty followed behind.

"Come on girl, tell us what happened! We're dying to know." They both looked at me, pouting.

"We went to the gardens in Hogsmeade and had the pastries you suggested. We walked and talked." I tried not to give anything away, but my eyes were glowing.

"Come on, tell us the truth!" Natty and Anne both cornered me.

"Okay, we kissed." I whispered and they both began to squeal in delight.

"How was it?!" Anne jumped up and down holding onto Natty.

"It was amazing." I pouted; just so in love with everything that happened. I tried to hold in all my excitement.

"I can't believe this! I... I'm so happy for you both! You both deserve all the love the world has to offer." Anne tried not to tear up.

"I knew you could do it! Anne is right, you both deserve this." Natty added.

We all giggled about the date, as I shared every detail. I said goodbye to them both and looked for Ominis.

Suddenly my vision was blocked by hands covering my eyes. I grabbed them and tried to pull them off.

"Ominis!" I pulled them down and turned to look at him, without hesitation I kissed him. He was taken back by the public display of affection but gladly kissed me back.

"That is going to take some time to get used to." He blushed and hugged me.

"It really is." Sebastian stood staring at us. I felt the same feeling I felt last night, but it was amplified. He has this dark presence surrounding him, it wasn't his normal warmth. "So, I see you two are official."

I couldn't help but feel uneasy around Sebastian.

"I guess we are." Ominis smiled which brought me out of my thoughts, his hand placed gently on my waist holding me to him.

"That's wonderful. I'm so happy for you both." He smiled. Even though I heard that from Anne and Natty. The way he said it didn't feel right. I know last night must have been tough. He only told me the gist of what happened and my suspicions turned into concern.

I wonder what happened.

We took our seats and had breakfast. Sebastian was more quiet than normal but Ominis on the other hand was more than talkative.

It was amazing to have him fully open up. Last night really changed him and me. He kept his arm around me, showing off to everyone we were now a couple. My heart skipped at the thought.

"Sounds like you two had a good time then!" Sebastian smiled listening to Ominis reminisce about last night.

"I don't think I've ever felt this happy." He blushed and kissed the side of my head, smelling my hair in the process. In that sweet gesture I knew whatever was happening with Sebastian I didn't care about. I finally had what I always wanted.

Soon it was Wednesday and the start of our classes. We had Defense Against the Dark Arts first, then Herbology and then Potions. Ominis and I have been inseparable. It was like a dream.

Everything felt so right.

He opened up more and more to me and I to him. I never knew falling in love could be so much fun, but right now I have Charms.

I silently waited for the class to start. Sebastian was nowhere to be found. We never got a chance to talk about what happened in the Undercroft and honestly I didn't care. It happened and now I can continue with my studies.
