28. Breaking Things Off

We spent the whole time studying as our eyes got heavy from the reading. I glanced over to see Ominis head resting in the palm of his hand. His eyes closed with a soft smile across his face.

He looked beautiful.

I stared at him taking in every detail of him. Trailing my eyes along his features. I was enchanted by him. I laid my head in my arms mesmerized wishing I could take a picture of this moment.

The words Shakespeare wrote and Ominis retored popped back into my mind. 'did my heart love till now.' I knew Ominis said that to me professing his true feelings, it was sweet, but the words held no true meaning till now.

Every second flashed back, from the day we met to here in the library. Maybe I am too young to understand my feelings for the blonde boy in front of me. Too nieve to comprehend these complicated emotions, but being with Ominis gave my life meaning.

Since that night of the ball I haven't shed a single tear. I was happy.

"Ominis?" I stroke his hair. "You have to wake up, we have divination to attend."

He opened his eyes blinking slowly rubbing them.

"Merlin Beard, I fell asleep again didn't I." He yawned rubbing his eyes.

"Yeah." I felt a little misty eyed, looking at him.

"I'm sorry." He fixed his hair.

"No need to apologize. I almost fell asleep too." I chuckled closing my book. He felt around for his stuff and stood up.

Taking the long journey to divination. Upon entering I noticed all the seats in class were full accept the two on either side of Sebastian. He had himself planted in the middle knowing he would be between Ominis and I.

I hesitantly took my seat next to him. "Did you really have to sit in the middle, you know that's Y/N spot." Ominis huffed.

"I rather sit next to my girlfriend with out you Ominis, if you don't mind." He jabbed at him.

I went to tell him off but Professor Onai had started the lesson.

I uncomfortably sat the whole time with Sebastian next to me, I couldn't focus as much as I tried. All I got was today was on Palmistry and we would have to pair up.

"Natty and Alex, Quinn and Ominis, Sebastian and Y/N..." she went down the row. I sighed and turns towards Sebastian.

"Pick who goes first, grab your partner hand and follow the lines in their palms. Each line tells a story of the person past, present and future depending on the placement and length."

"Should I go first or would you like too?" He faced me resting his hand on his knee.

"You can read mine." I held my hand out and he took it. Sebastian ran his fingers along my palm trying to read it. "It says you will become a millionaire." He joked trying to lighten the mood.

"Sebastian I can read yours if you can't read mine." I said unamused.

"No...I got it." He sighed tracing his finger along the lines in my hand looking into my heart line.

"This shows your highly empathetic and can understand others intentions and emotions, but the line is heavily chained..." he sneaked a smile "... meaning conflicting emotions when it comes to love. You are unsure of the answers and the path your currently on will lead to heart break."

I looked at my palm and the lines in my hand to see if he was telling the truth. Sebastian never been very good at divination.

"I don't believe you." I said thinking his path to heart break is implying Ominis.
