28. Dunk

3rd Person Omniscient POV

"You guys really should get a room," Sapnap groans as he uncovers his eyes, wiping some water from them.

"I mean we can," Dream smirks at Y/N and pulls her against his chest. Her legs wrap around his torso as he holds her above the water. The water is deep but they can both stand. Except the water comes up to Y/N's chin while it's only halfway up Dream's arm. "We could share my bed if we want."

"I think that's but fast don't you think?" she says softly, tracing her fingertips up his chest.

"Hmmm maybe," Dream smiles as he leans to peck another kiss on her cheek.

"Good thing your walls are soundproof so I don't hear you guys fuck at night."

The two of them turn bright red and Dream laughs awkwardly.

"That won't happen for a while."

"How long are you staying Y/N?" Sapnap asks, making small ripples with his hands in the water.

Dream picks up Y/N and places her on the edge of the pool with her legs dangling in the water. He leans his head against her and smiles.

"About another week and a half," Y/N says. "My flight leaves Monday of the week after next week."

Dream suddenly grabs Y/N by the ankle and sharply tugs, sending her into the water.

She lets out a gasp as she's dunked underwater. This time, Dream lightly presses his hand against her chest, noting letting her swim up.

Y/N kicks him in the thigh and he lets go with a groan.

"Not a fan of being dunked?" he laughs as she splashes water in his face. 

"Not at all."

"I have an idea," Sapnap climbs out of the pool and runs off toward the house.

"Where's he going?" Y/N asks. She turns to Dream whose eyes are twinkling. 

"Dunno."

The two of them float around in the water, waiting for Sapnap to return. The area is quiet with only the bright sun above and the faint rustling of the trees in the background.

After around 10 minutes, Sapnap comes running out with three large floaties.

One is a big, pink donut with rainbow-colored sprinkles.

The second is a pink flamingo head attached to a donut ring.

And the third is a clear donut ring with multicolored confetti inside. It has a white unicorn head and rainbow tail attached.

"The pump was missing," Sapnap says, red in the face. "I have to blow up this one," he holds up the flamingo. "By hand."

"Thank you," Y/N takes the flamingo and Dream grabs the unicorn.

"No problem," Sapnap plunks the donut in the water and swims underneath to get inside.

Dream walks over to Y/N and picks her up again, placing her in the donut ring.

"Is this going to be a regular thing?" Y/N asks, paddling in a circle so the flamingo spins around and around.

Dream laughs as he slides the unicorn float over his head.
