Just a little messed up

"Do you perhaps like me?"

"WHAT?" 

I was standing there, completely shocked. I started to calculate the possibility of her knowing about my feelings. "Forget it. I'm full of myself" She stood up and asked me to walk back to class. I guess it's for the best that I don't open my mouth here. I don't want to creep her out. 

"We are on time" she laughed. I did not notice that the bell rang. She walked in first and took her seat while I have to go till the last. Ryujin always throws tantrums, she is so lazy that she does not move out for me to get inside. So I climb the bench and purposely stamp her spot.

"So how was it?" Ryujin asked. "She asked if I like her." I started arranging my books which were spread on my table. "What the actual fuck!" Ryujin yelled whispering because our next teacher entered the class already.  

"I'll say everything after class" I whispered back. "No, I need to hear it now " Ryujin kicks my leg from under the bench and I don't pay attention to her. What just happened? Am I that obvious?

I know Lia has high standards when it comes to taking a liking in others. Is she just playing around? Maybe she just likes the attention she gets.

This class also ended quickly. I did not pay attention to a single word that the teacher said. Ryujin is eager to know about what happened and also Taeyeon wants to know. She's a good friend but I still feel like she's a bitch and I shouldn't trust her. I say her selective things because I'm not that close to her.   I say everything that happened and Ryujin is so happy to know that. 

"You guys will talk again" She is literally clapping her hands and it is so embarrassing because many other students are watching her. "You think she'll talk?" I sighed because I know Lia a little too well by now. "stop being so negative man" Ryujin playfully hits me. "I'm not being negative, I'm being realistic. Anything that's gonna happen is that we both will ignore each other's presence badly"

When I reached home there was a text from Lia which is really shocking. I was debating if I should see it right away or keep it waiting. I decided to take a nap but I wasn't sleepy. So I started with my incomplete class work and it's not a lot to do but it's better if I complete it before the teachers go insane. Later at night, my mom asked me if I have had dinner and I shook my head. She brought me food and left. 

She isn't that bad, is she? I don't know. I know she's right many times but I just don't like her tone.  I was about to close all my things and keep them aside when I heard my mom scream. I started panicking and ran to her room. I saw my aunt and Jennie we're already there.

"What happened?" I asked and my mom showed me her phone. "No way" I was beyond happy on seeing this. She was selected for the interview she gave. "Oh my God,  when are we leaving?" I asked and she checks the dates. "Pray that I should also clear my interview and we all can go together " 

My mom and aunt were trying to clear an interview that can get them a job in the US. And I'm so happy to know that Mom got selected. We'll leave this place, I will miss my school and friends but I guess I'll start fresh if I move away from here. Because nobody's gonna know me.
