Baby's Gender

We are at the doctors office. I walked to the desk where the same nurse as always gave me some new papers to fill out with information. I sat down and finished filling out my papers, then I took it back to the nurse at the desk.

A nurse called "Adriana Baker." I stood up, and walked toward her. Jay followed. "The doctor is ready to see you Adriana in room ten." she said as she pointed to the door. We walked down the hallway to door 10.

Dr. Corwin opened the door after almost 15 minutes of waiting. The first thing he did was put the cold jelly on my belly. He had done this the other times but this was a special appointment.

I had a feeling this baby was stubborn. The baby was turned at an angle to where you could not tell the sex. I looked to Jay "maybe we will not find out the gender today." Just as I finished my sentence the doctor said "not as stubborn as you thought, look" and pointed toward the monitor.

"A boy! We are having a boy!" Jay announced. Jay began to cry. This was a touching moment for us. I am glad we are finally having a baby, even if it is a boy.
