"Braven!!! That shall be his name." I said. Jay lit up, "Braven, baby that is a wonderful name. We have a strong, fighting, brave little boy."
Braven has been in the NICU for a week now. His breathing has not gotten any worse. He is still holding on with all of his might. I am proud to be called his parent.
It is very difficult not to see, hold, and nurture your newborn baby. We've wanted a baby for so long. Now we have to wait to see him.
The doctor thinks we will be able to go see him this upcoming week. Only Jay and I can hold Braven. Hands must be washed. Masks will be worn. It will be well worth it though.
