Chapter 23: Leaving With Our Friend

My pov:

Once we reached the butlers' quarters, the butlers greeted us and informed us that Gon and the others are on their way to this place.

Sei and I knew that they're lying but we gotta let the coin game event happen for the plot.

While we 'waited' for our friends in the other room, we sat down on the couch with Killua was laying his head on my lap eating choco robots while Sei sharpened her sword.

A few minutes later, The three of us decided to go to the main living room.

" Gotoh, is Gon here yet? " Killua asks as he opens the door.

Gon calls our names enthusiastically.

" You're here along with... " Killua trails off as he turns to Kurapika. " Kurapika "

" I'm just an afterthought? " Kurapika asks as his eyebrow twitched.

Then Killua turned to Leorio

" Liorio " Killua says as if that was Leorio's name.

" Leorio! " Leorio angrily corrected.

Sei and I snickered as Killua ignored Leorio and turned to Gon

" It's been awhile, what's wrong with your face? You look like a total wreck " Killua laughed.

" Yours wasn't any better until Y/n healed you " Sei mentions, causing us to laugh.

" Gotoh, I told you to inform us as soon as Gon gets here. What happened? " Killua asks.

Gotoh bowed as he explained

" I'm very sorry, I had them participate in a little game "

" Game? " Killua, Sei and I repeated as we raised our eyebrows.

" It was nothing more than a poor joke " Gotoh explained as he smiled " I apologize for any aggravation, did you enjoy yourselves? "

" That was some good acting... " Leorio said as he scratched the back of his neck.

Killua then looked at Gon seriously and asked in a serious tone

" What did they do? Did they try something? "

Gon shook his head and said

" No "

" Is that so? " Killua sighed.

" Then let's go somewhere, anywhere but here! " I said.

" If we stay any longer, my mother will give us another earful of her blabbings " Killua said.

So we grabbed our stuff

" Listen up, Gotoh. I don't care what mother says. Don't follow me " Killua ordered.

" Yes, I understand " Gotoh says as he bowed which made Killua smile.

" Let's go, Y/n, Gon and Sei! " Killua called as we walked out of the room.

Gon was about to follow but he stopped and faced Gotoh and I decided to wait for him.

" Hey, Gotoh-san. If Killua leaves, you'll be lonely, right? " Gon asked.

" No " Gotoh answers " We butlers do not feel any emotional attachment to our masters "

Gon narrows his eyes at Gotoh and said

" You're lying " Then he stuck out his tongue childishly.

Gon and I then turned around to follow Killua and the others but Gotoh stopped us by calling our names.
