Chapter 27: Holy Sh💩t!

My pov:

We've been here in the One Piece for about 1 week now and we still haven't found a way to get back to our world.

We've grown rather close with the Roger pirates, Sei managed to learn this world's language.

During our week here, Sei and Buggy developed a sibling relationship and as for Shanks, well...

He avoids me as soon as we make eye contact, I can't blame him. I mean, I straight up kissed him and probably traumatized the poor kid.

I let out a sigh catching Sei's attention whom was playing cards with Buggy.

" What's wrong, Y/n? " She asks with concern.

" I was hoping I could become friends with Shanks but it seems that it's never going to happen " I reply.

" Well... You did kiss him without warning and possibly traumatized him " Buggy pointed out.

" If she didn't then we wouldn't have been able to communicate " Sei spoke up.

" Right... " Buggy shrugs.

NIGHTTIME

I just finished showering and went to go sleep on my hammock. I laid down, closed my eyes and waited for sleep to take over my body.

It didn't come so I decided to switch into different sleep positions but nothing, I tossed and turned for what seemed like forever.

' Maybe I need some air... ' I thought.

I got out of my hammock and head to the upper deck. When I got there, I saw Shanks standing there feeling the cool breeze.

It's hard to believe that that red headed boy will become a powerful Yonko in a few years.

And a dilf too on top of that....

I was about to leave when I accidentally stepped on a creaky stair, therefore catching his attention.

" S-Sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your peace so I'll just leave " As I try to leave, I could hear him call me.

" Wait! "

I stopped and looked at him, his cheeks were as red as his hair and his eyes shyly averted mine.

" W-Why are you here? " He asks, still averting his eyes.

" I couldn't sleep so I decided to go out and get some fresh night air " I explained.

Suddenly, he reaches out his hand.

" What are you waiting for? " He asks " Aren't you here for some air? "

I take his hand as he leads me to a spot on the deck with a better view of the ocean.

We climbed up the mast and onto the Crow's nest. We sat there in silence for a few minutes so I decided to speak up.

" So... Um... About the kiss-! " I spoke up.

" Will you stop bringing that up? I've already forgiven you for it " he said with an annoyed face.

" I'm sorry, I thought you were still mad at me since you kept on avoiding me for the past week we've been here " I said.

Silence fell between us once again.

" I-I "

I hear Shanks stutter.

" I actually think you're cute " he mumbled.

" Pardon? " I asked.

" I said you were cool " he said.
