We were now inside Tony and Bruce's lab, trying to see the damage Ultron had made.

"All our work is gone." Bruce stated. "Ultron cleared out. He used the internet as an escape hatch."

"Ultron." Steve said with a slight shake of his head.

"He's been in everything. Files, surveillance." Nat stated as she checked the computers. "Probably knows more about us than we know about each other."

"He's in your files, he's in the internet... what if he decides to access something a little more exciting?" Rhodey asked.

"Nuclear codes." Hill said in realization.

"Nuclear codes." Rhodey nodded at her. "Look, we need to make some calls, assuming we still can."

"Nukes? He said he wanted us dead." Nat stated.

"He didn't say 'dead'. He said 'extinct'." Steve corrected.

"Yeah, because that's helpful." I told him sarcastically.

"He also said he killed somebody." Clint recalled.

"There wasn't anyone else in the building..." Hill said with furrowed eyebrows.

"Yes, there was." Tony said before showing a hologram of a destroyed Jarvis.

"What?" Bruce asked quietly as he walked closer to it. "This is insane."

"Jarvis was the first line of defense." Steve concluded. "He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense."

"No." Bruce said shaking his head. "Ultron could have assimilated Jarvis. This isn't strategy. This is... rage."

Before any of us could say anything, Thor walked over to Tony, and held him up by the throat.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa." Steve and I said quickly.

I decided to make my way towards them, just in case.

"It's going around." Clint commented.

"Thor." I called, trying to make him out Tony down.

"Come on, use your words, buddy." Tony managed to say.

"I have more than enough words to describe you, Stark." Thor said bitterly.

"Don't do anything you'll regret." I said placing my hand on his shoulder, making him look at me and slightly furrow his eyebrows, contemplating his next move.

Thankfully, he placed Tony down, making me send him a soft smile.

"Thor." Steve called. "The Legionnaire."

"Trail went cold about 100 miles out, but it's headed north." Thor informed us. "And it has the scepter."

One iron legionnaire had managed to escape the facility. Unfortunately for us, it took the sceptre with him.

Thor's last sentence made us all share annoyed looks amongst ourselves.

"Now we have to retrieve it. Again." Thor said, also annoyed.

"Genie's out of that bottle." Nat said. "Clear and present is Ultron."

"I don't understand." Dr. Cho said from near the window she was facing. "You built this program." She said turning around to face Tony. "Why is it trying to kill us."

After hearing that, Tony started laughing, making us look at him like he was a mad man.

"Mmm-mmm." Bruce said shaking his head disapprovingly.

"You think this is funny?" Thor asked Tony as he was about to walk over to him, but I placed the back of my hand on his chest, not allowing him to move.
