It's been a month since we've settled in Scotland. I used to roam around Diagon Alley every chance I got when we visited here for vacation, but we've never stayed for over a week. My parents are doing the school supplies finding for me while I toured the place around, admiring the view after so long.

I'll be going to Hogwarts in a few days, entering my third year. I'm quite outgoing so I'm not worried about making friends. But what about Harry? How would he react to some random girl showing up in his school with the same last name as him? Would he be happy to know that he had family after all? Or would he be frustrated with the thought that my parents didn't take him in when he was an orphan? As an overthinker, I gladly decided to just go with the "we just have the same last names, we're not related" story if anyone asks.

"Y/n!" I heard my mom call, I turned around and smiled at the sight of my parents walking over with everything I needed for Hogwarts. "You only need a robe from Madam Malkin's Robes and we're done with shopping," my dad said. The three of us headed into the robe shop, it wasn't crowded but wasn't quite empty either. There was two other guys there, one getting measured and one waiting.

"You a first year?" The one getting measured asked me, quickly glancing at me.

"No, third," I said as one of the employees guided me inside.

"Weird, we're in the same year yet I've never seen you before," the boy said while looking at me curiously.

"I'm a transfer, that's probably why," I said, "I'm Y/n."

The boy smiled, "I'm Blaise Zabini, nice to meet you." We kept talking until Blaise had to go after his father came by to get him. Eventually, my parents and I left for home after my robes were all done. Now all I have to do is wait for the first day of school.

I arrived at platform 9 3/4 with my parents, I curiously looked around everywhere as this was my first time entering another magic-filled place that wasn't Diagon Alley. Hogwarts Express is huge. "Things really haven't changed much," I heard my dad telling my mom. I looked around the crowded platform, everyone was either with their parents or friends. I tried to find my new friends I made a few days ago, Blaise.

"Y/n!" I turned around to find Blaise, except he wasn't alone.

"Hi Blaise! Who is this?" I asked, looking at the tall messy-haired blond boy behind him, who was looking away.

"My friend, he can introduce himself." Blaise said as he nodged the blond, getting his attention.

"Draco Malfoy." The blond said coldly, barely looking at me.

"I'm Y/n." I said, looking up at the tall blond, who tilted his head as he looked into my eyes.

"No surname?"

"Oh, sorry," I said, embarrassed, "Potter, Y/n Potter." Both Blaise and Malfoy widened their eyes, clearly shocked.

"Like Harry Potter?" Blaise asked while Malfoy stayed in the state of shock.

I shook my head, "No, we just share the same last name." Out of the corner of my eyes, I believe I saw Malfoy let out the breath he's been holding.
