"Rohan is a fucking Seer?! That smart ass bastard hid it from everyone all this time!" Sylas huffed angrily when we notified him of the news.

"Er... Can you just come down from your tree so we don't have to look up to you like you're our superior? Heck, you're the underclassmen here!" I complained as my neck got sore from looking up.

"Oh! Sure, of course I will," He quickly hopped down and sat down on the grass while facing us.

"The necklace?" Draco asked as soon as Sylas settled down.

Sylas searched his robes and pulled the necklace out, "I'm a man of my word." I held out my hand and he gently placed it on top.

"You're barely a teenager," I scoffed as I handed the time turner to Draco.

"It's just how the saying goes," Sylas shrugged as his short hair flew in the wind, "Well, enjoy the time turner. No need to give it back, I have more than enough." He fixed his hair and got it somewhat back into place as he gave us a polite nod and walked off.

Draco then turned to me with a smile as he wrapped his arms around me. He nuzzled my neck, his lips brushing it softly. "Thank you," he whispered.

--

I hopped out of bed extremely early. I was even earlier than Draco, which was surprising but great for the occasion. I quickly took the ring I got him out of its hiding place.

I quietly crept out of the room, not wanting to wake Draco up and find out about my marvelous plans. I closed the door quietly and got into the commons room and looked for a piece of parchment and a quill.

I found them laying around on one of the bookshelves and brought it over to the sitting area and started writing:

Draco--

Happy birthday! It was extremely hard to prepare this surprise when I'm under your surveillance nearly every second of my life.

Anyway, I better see this present on you everyday or else I'll start crying until you do so.

Y/n

P.S. Yes, that's a threat and a promise.

I smiled as I rolled the parchment up. I looked around for anything that I could use to tie it up so it'd actually look presentable.

I sighed as I couldn't find anything so I just used one of my hair ties. It was a last resort, but at least the hair tie is cute with a tiny hair pendant on it.

I tied the hair tie around the parchment and tiptoed back into my room, where Draco was still sleeping soundly. I placed the small box and the parchment on the nightstand besides him as gently and quietly as I could.

I then crept onto the bed besides him. This time I decided to face him so I could just watch him sleep until he wakes up because it's practically impossible for me to fall asleep again.

His blond hair was messy, but in a fashionable way. My hands reached out to the lose strands of his hair and started toying with it.

His hair felt so soft and I couldn't stop playing with it. I eventually started ruffling my hand through his hair, giving him weird hairstyles and such.

"Mm.." I heard Draco groan. He shifted a bit as he moved his hand to hold mine that was playing with his hair. His eyes remained closed.

"Morning, birthday boy." I whispered softly and a smile formed on his face, eyes still closed.

His other hand gestured for me to move closer to him and I did. He let go of the hand he was holding and wrapped both of his arms around me. He opened his eyes and looked into mine.

"Morning," He spoke joyfully. I sat up and gestured at the birthday present I had gotten him.

Draco quickly sat up and took the present and the rolled up parchment. He gave me a quick glance with a smile before opening the small box. His eyes glistened at the sight of the ring. He quickly put it on his right ring finger.

I smiled, "Love and trust? I like it." I then took the parchment and handed it to him, "Don't read it out loud, I'll get embarrassed."

"You know I love embarrassing you," Draco gave me a shrug as he took out the hair tie and left it on his wrist. He skimmed through the letter and gave me a funny look.

"You'll start crying? Let's try that out, shall we?" He said with a smirk as his right hand reached out for the ring. I huffed as I smacked his hand away.

"You don't want me to conjure a spell on it just so you won't take it off, do you?"

He smiled as he toyed with the ring, "You wouldn't even need to."

--

As the Third Task was nearing, I kept thinking about Rohan's warning that he gave me almost a month ago. I had told Draco, who was willing to stay in the castle with me if that meant I'll be safe.

But if someone, or something, is out to get me, will I really get away just by not showing up to the Third Task? And if I don't, what will they do to Draco to make sure no one stands in their way?

I didn't want to think about it, but I couldn't help it. Rohan had warned me that going to the Third Task will probably put me in direct danger. But what about not going? He never told me that'll promise my complete safety.

But at the same time, I'm curious how they would even do it. Will they just sneak up on me and apparate me away? Throw a portkey at me so I'll be in some random place I've never been to?

Anything's possible at this point. But at least I know that if I go to the Third Task, I'll probably get kidnapped again or whatever. Wait, or will I die?

I shook my head at those thoughts. Those are useless, I just need to go find Rohan and have him tell me exactly how I'm in danger if I go and watch the Third Task.

I nudged Draco's shoulder to get his attention away from Snape's lecture up front.

"Hm?" He hummed as he tilted his head towards me, eyes still focused on Snape.

"We have to find Rohan," I whispered just loud night for him to hear me clearly.

He turned his head to make eye contact with me, "Still worried?"

I nodded and he gave me a reassuring smile, "We'll go find him then."
