"Running away?! That was the magnificent plan the two of you came up? You didn't even succee--" Snape snapped furiously as we entered the room.

"Godfather!" Draco quickly interrupted, closing the door behind him.

I sighed, "Sorry for the let down, Professor."

"Save your apologies," Snape scoffed as he glanced at Draco, "You two would've had a better chance of actually leaving the school if you just came to me."

"I hadn't realized that was an option," Draco mumbled as he crossed his arms.

"Ahem," I cleared my throat, "Rather than dwelling on our regrets, shouldn't we be figuring out what to do next?"

Draco's eyes darted away, "Yes... About that... Godfather, we actually have a reason to get out of Hogwarts for a good amount of time."

Snape raised an eyebrow, "And what might that be?"

"He has called for us, Professor," I said, looking Snape dead in the eye. For a hot second, I could see horror in Snape's eyes, but it faded away quickly.

There was a moment of silence before Snape spoke again, "What do you need me to do?"

"Get us out, of course," I said as I sat on one of the tables. "I'm also assuming He doesn't want us to take too long."

Draco nodded, "Father's always... let's say scattering whenever he gets summoned."

Snape sighed as he looked back and forth at the two of us, "I'll... try to get the Headmaster to let you two off for a small break."

Draco scowled, "So you might not be able to?"

"No, you can't be so sure, especially as you two are technically being punished for trying to run away," Snape replied sharply.

"I guess it can't be helped then," I looked over at Draco, noticing his messy hair. He always made sure that his hair was "neat." I got up on my feet again as I walked to Draco and roughly fixed his hair.

Draco slightly flinched, "Shi- thanks."

Blaise was pacing around the common room when we walked through the entrance. His face lit up as he rushed over.

"How was it? You guys alright?" Blaise hurriedly asked as he took Draco's left arm and was about to unroll Draco's sleeves.

"Hey-" Draco panicked, smacking Blaise's hand away and held his arm.

Blaise stood there confused, "What? I was just checking if they made you two use the blood quill."

Draco's eyes darted away, "Sorry, I overreacted... We're fine, we were with Snape, not Umbridge."

"Ah, right, forgot about that," Blaise laughed awkwardly, "Well, how'd it go?"

I shrugged, "Alright, we didn't do anything. Just sat there pretty much."

Draco nodded, "Yes, that's right, we didn't do anything interesting... you know how Snape is."

Blaise squints in suspicion, "It feels like you're hiding something again, are you?"

Draco and I exchange a look before he responds, "No.. we're not, just... nevermind, you'll see."

With a sigh, Blaise let it go, or "for now." His words.

The rest of the day wasn't any better. Snape did find a way to get us out but it wasn't easy to get it in action.

It was pretty simple really, get a suspension. Except that with Umbridge in the picture, she would much rather put us in detention for life.
