As they walked around the gallery, Milo explained the inspiration behind each photograph. Isabelle listened intently, admiring the way he talked about his art with such passion and eloquence. She had always been drawn to creative types, and Milo was no exception.

As the night wore on, Milo found himself unable to keep his eyes off of Isabelle. He longed to wrap his arms around her and hold her close, but he didn't want to rush things. Instead, he settled for stealing glances at her every chance he got, marveling at how someone could be so breathtakingly beautiful.

As the gallery began to clear out, Milo took Isabelle's hand once more and led her outside. The night was cool and crisp, and the stars twinkled above them.

"Isabelle, I know we've only just met, but I feel like I've known you forever. There's something about you that draws me in, and I can't stop thinking about you," Milo said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Isabelle's heart skipped a beat. She had been feeling the same way about him, but she didn't want to scare him off by being too forward.

"Milo, I feel the same way. I don't know what it is about you, but I can't get you out of my head," she said, her voice just as soft as his.

With that, Milo took Isabelle's face in his hands and leaned in to kiss her. It was gentle and sweet, but it left Isabelle feeling like she was floating on air. She knew that this was just the beginning of something special.

He grabbed her hand, and they ran down to the parking lot elevator.

"Shouldn't you say goodbye?" Isabelle giggled.

"Oh, they won't miss me that much," and as the elevator door closed behind them he pressed her gently along the wall, kissing her neck. Isabelle involuntarily let out a gasp and tried her best to hold on to herself, to him.

They walked out into the empty parking lot and he took her hand, easily leading her to the car.

"Are you hungry?" He asked her when they got it.

"Starving," Isabelle replied.

"Good, I know just the place," and with that, they were on their way again.

"What did you think of the exhibition?" Milo asked, keeping his eyes on the road.

It occurred to Isabelle that he might actually care what she thinks, and it was all at once sweet and overwhelming.

"Milo," she breathed, "it was...extraordinary," Isabelle said, looking at the side of his face.

His eyes crinkled as he smiled, turning over to look at her, he grabbed her hand and kissed it, holding it at his mouth.

"I'm glad you liked it," he said into her hand.

"What I didn't like," Isabelle said, blushing slightly, was that little announcement you made."

"Oh, that?" Milo asked innocently, "I thought you'd be happy," Milo grinned.

"I was - I am - guess its just all a bit overwhelming.."

He took her hand, and held it in his lap.

"Hey," he said, "don't think about how this looks. In fact, don't care about what anyone thinks," Milo said seriously, keeping his eyes on the road again, then turning to look at her for a brief moment - "we can't afford to."

And that somehow gave Isabelle the confidence she needed. She nodded, sitting up straighter, squeezing his hand, and moving it to her lap.

She breathed out a sigh of relief, right as they were pulling up to the valet parking at the restaurant.
