It was finally time for the Spanish Grand Prix. Christina had just arrived on track for the first practice.

She reached the entrance of the hospitality along with Lando while talking and making jokes about this week's race.

They were walking up the stairs with the McLaren driver ahead when he tripped and fell on the girl, pushing her and making her fall back. A yelp escaped her lips.

Christina would have surely rolled down the stairs if it wasn't for a certain someone who was standing right behind her and prevented her from tumbling down.

She felt two strong arms wrapping around her body as she fell straight to what she supposed was a man's chest.

"Are you okay, Christina?" A familiar voice reached her ears, and goose bumps started forming on her skin as she felt his breath hitting her neck. God, she would recognize that voice anywhere, that French accent.

"Yes, thank you, Leclerc," she replied, trying to get out of his grasp, wanting to avoid his gaze. The Monegasque driver turned her around so he could look at her.

His eyes roamed her body, checking for any visible injuries. That or it was just his excuse to take her all in. He hadn't seen her since Miami, and even then, they hardly talked.

She was avoiding him.

He didn't even have the chance to explain.

"Are you sure?" he asked once again, his eyes resting on hers. God his greens eyes. Christina knew that she would never stop thinking of how beautiful they were. She would never stop being mesmerized by them.

No matter what he did, no matter what he said, Charles could take her breath away with just one look.

"Yeah, I think so," Christina breathed out, finally managing to look away and move out of his grasp. She turned around to walk further up the stairs.

"Oh fuck" she groaned in pain grabbing the railing for support. "What?" Both Lando and Charles asked standing closed to her.

"My leg hurts a bit. It's nothing" she replied trying to shake it off. Charles looked at her hand with which she was holding the railing, her knuckles had gone white from the tight grip.

"Like if it was something you would say it" Charles rolled his eyes at her. "Come on. I'll take you to the medical room" he said picking her up. "Put me down, Leclerc. You aren't carrying me, I'm heavy"

"Shut up, Christina. You're not even  half my warm up weight and now accept the help" Charles said before pulling her close to his chest so he could see where he stepped as he carefully walked up the stairs.

Lando left them to head to his meeting after apologizing million times and asking from Charles to call him for an update on Christina.

Charles led the girl to the medical room where an available paramedic checked on Christina's leg. It looked like during her almost fall she sprained her ankle and hit her leg on the step since there was a huge bruise on it.

The paramedic bandaged it up for support so Christina could walk better. He also placed some ice on it, telling her to take an at least 15-minute break from walking. And prepared her an ice pack to take back in her office where she'd work for now.

"I have to go to my office" Christina sighed taking the ice pack of her leg and attempting to get off the couch where she was seated.

"Okay, I'll take you" Charles who was leaning against the wall across the room rushed by her side to help her.

"I already told you, Leclerc. I don't need your help. You should go to your meeting, you're late"

"And I already told you that I'm not going anywhere" Charles replied sternly, bringing his arms to his chest as he looked at her trying to stand.
