After that torturous 5-days trip, Christina decided to go to Monaco since there would be held the last Formula 1 event that she was invited to. It was a fancy dinner, something like a dance really.

Tonight was the last night that the group could spent before they all parted ways. Pierre and Kika would go back to Paris, Christina would go to Greece so she could spent the Christmas holidays with her family, Lando and Luisha would settle at Lando's family house in England for some time.

This was it.

The last time.

Christina walked in the venue having a heavy feeling on her chest. Her breath felt shallow and her legs weak. The thought of what would follow after this night wouldn't leave her mind.

She would return to America, back to reality.

The dream was over.

The room was crowded, full of people she had seen a lot of times throughout the year. But still she didn't fail to spot him in the back, talking with Mattia and a Ferrari sponsor. He stood out anyway.

He was Charles Leclerc after all.

Christina felt a pair of arms wrapping around her body, pulling her out of her thoughts. A smile formed on her lips as she noticed that it was Lewis. The English man picked her and spun her around once making her laugh.

"I'm happy to see you too, Lew Lew" she laughed as he placed her on the floor again. "Ughhh, I've missed you" Lewis kissed her head as he pulled her in for a hug again.

"We were together two hours ago" Christina chuckled at his exclamation. "Yeah but everyone here is super boring" they both laughed as they walked further in the room.

Christina spent most of her night talking with the different people around the room. She hanged out with the wags and Lewis and was currently sitting by the bar with a glass of champagne in hand and stared at the people dancing in the middle of the room.

For once more tonight she was pulled  violently out of her thoughts when she felt someone wrapping his arms around her body and pulling her towards the dancefloor.

"Lewis!"

"You have to dance with me" her best friend told her as he pulled her close and placed her arms on his shoulders. Lewis gave them a pace and they started dancing, or rather trying to. None of them could take this seriously.

They were spinning around, laughing loudly as they messed up the steps and ruining the dance. But she loved it. Lewis had that amazing ability of making her laugh so effortlessly. His presence filled her heart with warmth and she found peace with him. She felt loved and had no care in the world while she was in his arms.

"Okay, I think we dance enough. You should go to Naomi" Christina told Lewis as she let go of him. Naomi was a reporter that worked on the paddock and Lewis's situationship. They'd been together quite a few times but never put a label on what they were.

"She doesn't mind" Lewis told his best friend as he didn't want to leave her alone. "But I do" Christina gave him a small smile.

"Go dance with her a little. I'll be fine on my own for two minutes" she chuckled. Lewis nodded his head before placing a kiss on her cheek and walking away. Christina went to sit on her previous place to rest.

Charles who was at the other side of the room, noticed her leaving the dance floor. She was hard to miss since she was stunning. She always stood out for him but the red dress she was wearing made his eyes not wanting to leave her.

As he looked at it, he realized that it was probably the dress she had bought for the Ferrari event in Monza. She never got to wear it since he gifted her another one. Did she keep that dress to cherish their moments together? He wondered. Or did she hid it somewhere so she wouldn't remember?
