The supply of baby spiders don't end. They proved to be hostile and no matter how many we take down more appear. The endless hoard seems to keep going forever. That's not the case for our stamina. Soon we'll be all out. We gotta think about someway to get out of here fast. There's only one problem, if Dion really is here we can't leave him. We're forced to explore a bit more before leaving. That's if we can survive this.

Our energy wastes away faster than Cole's arsenal of arrows. We're gasping for air in seconds. We have to be putting 100% effort constantly to not get devoured by these creatures. "I can't take it anymore!" Mil breaks. He swings his lance in a whirlwind slaying all nearby creatures and forcing the rest to back away. "Seph! You know what to do!"

I nod at him. I grab my pouch and take out the last few bombs I had. I toss fire bombs creating a wall of fire protecting us and a smoke bomb covering ourselves entirely. "How do we get out now?" I ask Mil.

"Leave that to me!" I can see his silhouette stick his finger up. He's most likely grinning from ear to ear. He puts his shield up while patting the walls. "You think I'm stupid..." We kind of did "But since we started this fight I've been mapping everything out. And I noticed that this structure is very old. I saw a weak spot in the wall." He steps back a bit. My guess is that he found it. "We better hurry before the smoke and fire go away." He charges at the wall leaving a crater. He waves at us to go through.

We walk into another dark corridor. "What's this?" Raph whispers "It's just another corridor. They can find us easily if they just go through the hole!"

The entire building begins to shake. Like if there was an earthquake. "Everyone get down!" Garil shouts. The hole that we came from caved in along with some other pieces of the roof above us. They fell right in between us dividing the group. On one side was Mil, Garil and Raph and I was on the other side with Cole. When the dust went down I notice Cole has a strained face. A beam from the ceiling fell on her leg.

"Cole! Are you alright?!" I ask as I struggle to lift up the beam.

"I'll tough it out... Just get this thing off of me, please..." Her voice sounds strained. She is holding in the pain.

From beyond the rubble I hear Garil shout. "We're okay over here! Everyone made it safe! How about you guys?"

"We're somewhat okay, but Cole has her foot stuck under some debris. We need help!" No matter how much I push the beam doesn't budge.

"There's no way to get to the other side through here." Garil begins analyzing. "We'll go look for a way around. You stay put there until we arrive."

I push and push straining myself to get the beam out, but my efforts are fruitless. "Damn it! If only I was stronger. Mil could probably lift this..." I can't help the negative thoughts from entering my mind. They just pop up there.

Cole sees my frustrated face. "Don't worry. The other's will be here... We'll be alright."

"Yeah... I guess you're right." I sit down.

"Ow ow ow ow!" She violently points at where I'm sitting.

I look down "The beam!" I shoot up and she looks at me with eyes filled with rage. I chuckle nervously. If she wasn't stuck she would have put that trapped leg of hers to good use. I guess now I just have to stand guard and wait. That's a simple task. Cole drifts out of consciousness and her head drops to a pillow of bricks. "...Cole... Cole!"

The hole her leg was stuck in drips a strange fluid. I can't really see much in the dark... I drag my finger across it and hold it up to a little stream of moonlight filtering through the roof to reveal a red color. "She's bleading out!" To make matters worse I hear some rustling behind me. Two adult spiders along with the one we identified as queen arrive at the end of the long and narrow hallway.

"No..." They spot me and walk towards me slowly as if they're taunting me. "No..." They hiss at me. They know I'm out numbered... It's an easy match for them. "No..." Fear engulfs me. I can't beat them and I can't run. I have to take care of Cole. She's bleeding out! If I can't find a way to help her in time she'll die. I take a step back and breathe out. "I'm weak..." I tell myself. "I can't beat them..." I add. "I'm not as strong as anyone else... But I'll get ripped to shreads before I leave a comrade alone!" I unsheathe my blades and stare the spiders straight in the eyes.

"My story will not end here... Just you try and stop me!"
