Seph's POV
We all stand outside the hospital room's door expecting to hear from the medics. They come out and announce Cole's state. "She is going to be alright." Everyone sighs with relief. "She just needs a bit of bed rest."

"Oh that's good." I say. "We should tell Niel the news."

"Haven't you noticed? Niel's been missing for three days. None of us knows where he is." Raph reminds me.

"We looked for him after he ran off, but never found him." Garil adds.

"I wouldn't worry, though. It's probably not important. He'll be back soon." Dion reassures us.

Mil sighs loudly. "The past few days have been exhausting. None of us had proper sleep. Even if Niel warned us of it. We're not going to be of use if we do nothing. I say we rest up and start training tomorrow."

"That's good thinking." Dion says. "Hey, check out who it is."

Three females arrive at once to Cole's room. It's Gail, Grid and Mary. They had flowers picked from the field in their hands. "Hello novices!" Mary winks at us.

"It's been a while. We heard what happened at the forest and wanted to see if Cole was okay." Grid says.

"The doctors said she's okay. She just needs rest. We'll take care of her when she gets out." Raph tells them.

"That's the problem." Mary says pouting. "You have that girl surrounded by guys. A girl needs some girl time!"

"Guys..." Raph leans back to us an whispers "Group huddle!" We all huddle together. "It's happening again... Girls are using terms we don't understand. This never ends well!"

"I agee." Mil says. "What should we do?"

"I'd recommend a strategic retreat!" Dion says.

"Good idea! Break!" They all separate. "Alright..." Raph says. "We'll be going now." The group starts pacing backwards keeping their eyes on the girls. When we turn Mary is in front of them. We all hop and one of us squeaks like a girl, not knowing who.

"You guys have a girl on your team..." Mary says roughly. "Don't treat her like one of the guys, alright?"
We nod not knowing what she's referring to. "We won't."

She maneuvers a knife skillfully past her fingers. It's pretty intimidating. "So... You guys had been here for a couple of week and you've grown quite popular among the people in the last few days."

"Well... Trust me. It wasn't on purpose." I say nervously holding my hands up between me and her.

"You've held back an entire mob of monsters way over your level to protect the people of Scarlet City and destroyed a monster nest in the forest. A feat, virtually impossible for hunters your class."

"Are you going anywhere with this?" I ask her.

She nods. "Mhm. I want you guys to go on a mission with me and my team."

"Yeah? What is it?"

"The Daybeast you guys drew over here. It is roaming too close to the walls and they are making us go and slay it or drive it away. We want to see if you guys are any good or you just had dumb luck."

"Uhh..."

"Done." Mil intercepts. "Any chance to kick butt, we'll take it." He cracks his fists and everyone accepts.

"Alright, then. When do we start?" I ask.

"Tomorrow." She turns and waves at us leaving the flowers in front of the room in a stand.
