Hello everyone. It's your favorite character in the story, Dion!
"No, bad Dion!" Mil shouts at me. "You're no one's favorite!"
How on earth are you hearing me? I'm a disembodied voice!
"Don't ask. Just know that I'm everyone's favorite." He backs away slowly until he's out of sight.
...Anyways... I've been assigned to clear up the topic of... Drumroll please...! The Felyne! And no, it's not the author's bad spelling at work; he knows it is spelled 'feline', but the name of the race is Felyne. They are the product of some (Bleep)ed up breeding proce-... Oh never mind they were just born that way. They are humanoid creatures who, throughout their first mention, are shown to be a more advanced civilization, so they're not uneducated beast men.
They are actually more civilized than humans themselves, except for when they're not. This brings us to our second topic: the Felyne ability that was renamed Awakening (It was called beast mode, but I modified it). To add more specific information, it is a sort of 'mode' that specially trained Felynes can enter in which they come into contact with their 'wild side'. Their senses get sharpened exponentially, they are filled with adrenaline as if preparing to hunt, which strengthens them exponentially. This makes them a very strong adversary in a face to face battle.
...Well that's actually all about them, for now. There's the topic about Kittan having a Soulstone, but there's not really anything on that yet. It's all shrouded in mystery. Not even the author knows why she has a Soulstone! Yet that is. There are many possibilities, but you can expect a pretty damn good reason why.
Another thing I'd like to point out is the complexity of Niel's Soulstone's ability. It is a special energy that makes the target see and 'un-see' whatever he concentrates on. The targeting process is done in two ways. The first is wide spread illusion, in which anyone in his area will be caught in his illusion. This needs more concentration and requires more energy than the second targeting method, named specific illusions. Specific illusions are illusions used on a specific person as he did to Raph in when he was interrogating him. Yep, that's right; he didn't place everyone in an illusion when he threatened Raph. He placed Raph under the illusion in specific. This method, although only active on one person's mind, is more potent. It can generate drastic changes in the target's sight, in contrast to the wide spread illusion which can make minor changes like leaving afterimages of him and erase himself from his opponent's sight, appearing invisible.
Although not as destructive as other Soulstone powers to come, it is a pretty unique and strong ability. As the saying goes, "You cannot fight what you cannot see." Once Niel learns to control Gray Mirage properly, he will become a force to be reckoned with.

A/N
Just curious, since I'm using my characters to tell you these facts, I have a question. Who is your favorite character in this story? Comment it so I can know your favorite along with your least favorite. If you want, the most hated character can die >:] mwahahahaa! (This probably isn't the best time for Niel since he's acting like a jerk, but he gets nicer so don't discriminate.)
P.S. I really have to stop writing chapters early. I always get anxious and post them ahead of time. Moral of the story: procrastinate until the last moment. That's how you stay punctual!
