Chapter 9

         Alvar's pov
     It's been 5 days since Stella was kidnapped. Marco and I have been searching in the woods for a scent of her. We haven't found anything yet. We are searching the vampire woods ,in the Vampire kingdom today. It won't be easy to be stealthy. Vampires can smell werewolves and we can smell them. Alice knows of a cabin deep in the vampire woods. As a small girl, she was never allowed to go there, but she could hear screams Echo from there.
            Marco has been nice enough to let me stay in Stellas room. It's really just because I could feel when she is hurt. I haven't felt any bad pain since she was taken. That helps me some because I know she isn't being tortured. Then I herd a knock on the door.
" King Alpha wants to see you in the meeting room," said a male voice.
" Im on my way," I answered.
As a walk to the meeting room, I felt weird I got to the door, then fell to the ground. There was a pain that shot through me making me scream. Before I blacked out I could see Marco and Alice standing over me.
   As I started to come to, I could tell I was in the meeting room.
" How long was I out?" I asked.
" For 4 hours. What happened?" Marco asked.
" I felt like I was getting cut all over," I said with a sadness in my voice.
" We need to find her," I said as I sat up.
" There has been a complication," Alice said.
" What do you mean complication?" I asked.
" Yesterday I sent some scouts to look around the vampire woods. As they were going to go in they were stopped by a protection spell. Alice won't be able to take it down herself. It is to strong. We have to gather a few things today. You and I only will be going to test how strong it really is." Marco said.
" Okay," I muttered.
" I am going to the training room. Is that ok?" I asked.
" Of course," Alice said.

Stella's pov
When I woke up Jasper was already in my cell waiting.
" You're up." He said.
I didn't say anything. The day I said I won't obey.Everyday he came and asked the same question.
" Are you ready to obey?" He asked
I still didn't speak.
" Well today I have permission to start using weapons. The Queen wants you to submit. Preferably quickly." He said reach behind his back. He pulled a whip from his belt. It was black and leather. Then I noticed the thorns on the end.
" This is my favorite one," he said ,with a smirk an he hit the whip on the floor.
"You see the ends are covered in wolfsbane." He continued.
I knew this was gonna hurt. He raised the whip and hit my sholders. When he pulled the whip back skin ripped from my  sholder . He came closer.
" Will you obey?" He asked again. 
I still said nothing. Then he struck my leg. It is starting to burn. He struck me 3 more times before I passed out. I knew this time I would be out for a few days. The pain of the wolfsbane was to much for me to stay awake.

Alvar's pov
     Today, me and Marco are going to check out the protection spell. Sometimes alphas can breakthrough a weak protection spell. Only alpha's can do that though. With our speed and strength, we can end up breaking it, but with a strong protection spell, it can knock us out for a bit. I miss Stella so much. I have been afraid and need to find my mate. I have so many enemies. My father isn't a good person. I was still afraid he would kill her like he did my mom.  Mates are a weakness to him. He believes they could cloud your judgment , and manipulate you. He thinks a mate should obey their male mate. I don't think they are a weakness. Mates help build and care for each other.
   I got dressed and went down to the door, where Marco was waiting for me. We quickly went out the door. We didn't talk the whole way there. Both of us were eager to get  Stella back. When we got there Marco stopped and looked at me, then spoke.
" Ok we go on 3" Marco said.
" What if we pass out? Shouldn't we go one at a time?" I asked.
" I have a few pack members miles back. They will know if we get knocked out, and come get us." He said quickly.
" Okay 1...2...3," said Marco. Then we both ran into the protection bubble. We were knocked a few feet back.
" Faster. 1...2..3," said Marco.
We ran as fast as wee could, but it didn't budge.
" One more time. 1...2...3," Marco said.
When we hit it we were knocked a few feet back. Then I noticed a piece of paper float out of the vampire woods.
" What is that?" I asked, as Marco picked it up.
He didn't say anything, just started storming to the castle. He handed me the paper and said,
" We have to find a way through fast."
" Okay," I said, as I started reading the paper.

Dear Marco,
You took my daughter from me, so I am taking yours. You will never see her again. I am forcing her to mate with Jasper. You remember him right? I am sure you do. He has to get her to obey, how you think he will do that? What pain she will go through. As soon as the blood moon comes in two weeks, she will be forcefully marked. We both know once she is marked she is his. And I do hope Alvar it taking this hard. After all, he did kill Jasper's mate. So Jasper has 2 very good reason, to make a perfect mate for your daughter.

I balled my fist up. I can't believe he has her. Jasper in knowing for his torturing. Mainly for the Vampire royals.
" Why is Jasper upset with you?" I asked hoping I didn't over step.
" He had a identical twin." Marco said hesitantly.
" His twin had kidnapped Alice when she was pregnant. He beat her to an inch of her life before I had found her. I got there just in time to save her. I took his life like he tried to take my mates ,and unborn child's life. That is how I knew who took her, Alice disappeared like Stella did.   Why did you kill Jaspers mate?" Marco asked, changing the subject.
" She killed my sister." I said sadly.
"Sister?! I didn't know you had a sister." Marco said.
" Nobody did. My dad got with someone right after he killed my mother. He ended up getting her pregnant. She was alive for 3 years before her mom found her mate. When she did her mate was pissed,that someone had a kid with her. He wanted my sister dead, but didn't want to do it himself. The next day his sister came and killed her for him. She was innocent. It should have been me. I loved her no matter if she was only my half sister. So I killed her like she did my sister. I didn't find out till later she was Jasper's mate." I said.
" Wow jasper had a wolf mate?!" Marco said shocked.
" Yes, but she hated wolfs. She made sure to tell me that as she was hitting me." I said.
" They definitely are perfect for each other." Marco said.
We walked inside and explained everything to everyone then I went to Stella's room. Today was a lot and I really wanted her back.
