I saw Math near my bed struggling to wear his uniform. I walked over to him. "Are the tents got burnt by the fire?" I asked.

"...!" Math's eyes widened as he still struggled to wear his uniform, rather fidgety. "A-Are you still half asleep?" he stuttered, laughing awkwardly. "You even wore your uniform while sleeping."

"...?"

Strange. Ken said that someone was planning to set a fire at the camp. Speaking of Ken, I can't see him here inside the tent.

"Where's Ken?" I asked Math. "Did you see him?"

"Kennedy? I didn't, why?" he replied. "Maybe he's outside already. You were with him last night, right?"

"Yes, I was..."

As we were exchanging replies, I remembered something from last night.

"...About last night," I added. "Why didn't I see even one soldier at the camp?"

"Ah right," Math replied, now fixing his shoes. "You're not here while that happened..."

"...Happened what?"

"Someone wrote a letter saying that Kon was planning an all-out attack at the North, so most of the soldiers at the camp were brought to the battlefield. After minutes of waiting for the attack, not even one enemy came. The general doesn't even know who sent that letter to his desk, and what's their motive in writing it..."

"..."

"Hey Rem, where have you been last night?" Luna butted in. "All the soldiers were brought in the North."

"Maybe he's the spy or something..." Shaun, who was fixing his shoes just beside us, muttered.

Luna walked over to where Shaun was, planning to step on his foot. "What did you say~?" she asked, smiling.

Shaun swiftly avoided Luna's foot. "Your old plans won't work on me, you Lunatic!" he exclaimed, pointing his middle finger at Luna.

Luna stepped on his other foot that has no shoes on. "What old plan~?"

"Agh! Get off of me, it hurts!" Shaun shrieked, struggling to remove Luna's feet from him. "I said it hurts, you Lunatic!"

Luna ignored him, continuing to step on Shaun's foot with even much more strength. "If you want me to stop," she said, looking smug, "then beg for it~"

"Huh?! Why should I – Augh!"

Luna, without hesitation, lift her foot from Shaun's and stepped on his right hand. "Where's your answer~?" she insisted. "You're going to beg or not~?"

"P-Please, stop..." Shaun murmured, his face flushed. "I-I'm b-begging you..."

"Mhmm~," Luna moaned. "I can't get enough of this~ hehehe~"

"..."

The usual morning... Even Math didn't bother to watch them and just sighed.

Sometimes I wonder how other soldiers from the camp cope with this...?

While those two were doing their 'morning daily routine', Sergeant Charlotte suddenly entered the tent. "Hey Rem, where the fuck have you been yesterday?" she interrupted. "And also that Ken shit?"

"I was helping him yesterday, Sergeant Charlotte," I replied.

"I'm not even going to ask..." she muttered. "No breakfast for you two."

"...Understood."

If Ken was here, he would've been doing his 'morning push-ups' by now...

"Thankfully, you're not as stubborn like that shit..." she muttered. "Where is he by the way?"
