Stepping out of the vehicle, I immediately analyzed the area.
"..."
And just like I thought, this is also where Mr. Aaron's place is – Near his apartment. Just like what we discussed earlier, we all evacuated the city residents telling them it was an 'evacuation drill'.
About an hour passed.
All residents obediently followed even though it was selfishly planned out of the blue. All are according to the plan... Or it should be...
"Don't fucking lie to us!" A random kid suddenly shrieked. "We all know that Kon is actually sending an all-out attack – Hmpff...!" Before he even finished what he was trying to say, a soldier near him covered his mouth. He then started flailing uncontrollably, kicking the air with no restraints. People near them one by one showed panic and started walking frantically.
"Everybody, calm the fuck down!" Sergeant Charlotte reassured. "It's just what we said, it's just a drill so no need to panic!"
The kid bit the soldier's hands resulting in him getting away. "Don't fucking touch me! I will sue you!" he exclaimed, slowly walking away backward. "Don't fucking listen to this bullcrap, everyone! The government is just fucking with us!"
The confused crowd began running in different ways.
"Yeah! That's right, run motherfuckers!" The kid laughed hysterically.
Sergeant Charlotte walked towards him with a furious face.
"W-What!?" The kid stuttered, he stood trembling with both of his hands making a fist. "D-Don't you dare get fucking close to me! I'm a son of a mayor – Agh!"
Without hesitation, Sergeant Charlotte punched him straight in the face. "Son of a mayor?! You're more like a son of a bitch!" she growled. "And even if you're the son of god himself or an offspring of any fucking deity out there, my ass won't care less!"
"That's child abuse..." Luna butted in.
"Child abuse?!" Sergeant Charlotte exclaimed, glaring at Luna. "You call that little bitch a child?!"
"..." Luna heard that but pretended not to, averting her eyes from her to the kid lying on the floor.
The panicking calmed down a bit after that scene, nobody didn't even bother to bat an eye at the sobbing kid running aimlessly at the crowd while muttering, "I-I'm going to kill her!" over and over again with blood gushing out of his nose.
"...?"
Children, I don't understand them...
While the crowd was in frenzy, Sergeant Charlotte borrowed.... No. She forcefully snatches one of the soldiers' megaphones beside her. "All of you motherfuckers out there!" She then shouted into it. "Listen to me!"
"Yeah!" Shaun joined in. "Listen to what my Sergeant Charlotte tells!"
Despite their warning, everyone continued to run in their ways, ignoring the shouts of the soldiers.
"...!" Luna grabbed a pocket gun from his side pocket and fired it at the sky three times. Everybody looked at her and stopped.
"Finally..." Sergeant Charlotte muttered, the megaphone still near her mouth.
Luna continued to fire the gun she was holding repeatedly in the air, smiling. "Hey, Shaun!" she laughed, looking at Shaun. "This is fun! Try it!"
Shaun immediately grabbed her hand and pointed it at the ground. "Put that down, Lunatic...!" he hissed. "What the fuck are you doing?!"
