It's been quite a stressful yet joyful year making this novel. To be honest, I didn't fantasize even in the slightest that I would finish this story nor I imagined I would be here writing one. I remembered before starting to write 'Machine', I didn't make a plan on how to start the story nor how the story would progress over time. I just let my fingers run wild into my keyboard to whatever idea would come up in my mind as I write this novel. Though I had planned for writing one year ago, I didn't dare to do so because of whatever reasons. Be that as it may, I still pushed myself on writing one.
Mr. Aaron Fisher was originally a character from a math assignment I wrote about a year ago. (Don't even ask me why the hell I was writing a story for math class, even I don't know...) That's also when I had that feeling of starting to write a novel that I planned years ago. If I'm not mistaken, I originally planned on making Mr. Aaron an emotionless, crippled old man character. But one thing lead to another, that emotionless old man turned into someone rather obnoxious. (Though I prefer him that way lmao) Every character in this novel on their own possesses quite interesting traits, describing them one by one would take hours. I feel sorry for them but before that, I feel sorry for my fingers too lmao. It takes about roughly two days before I can publish a single chapter (considering the making of the outline of the story and the revisions I have to make with my editor. Though it's fun, it's stressful too in the process). Nevertheless, I'm still very happy with the outcome considering all the revisions I had to make through the process.
I dedicate this novel to everyone who struggles to express their emotions freely and to those who have hardships with perceiving themselves. This goes without saying, this novel wouldn't turn out like this without everyone's never-ending support and love for the novel. I hope you still keep supporting me for future work that I am planning.
