When I saw you I knew you were special

I just didn't think you would affect me

Not like this

I never thought you'd be in my life

Because someone like you couldn't exist

Not here, but you do

Somehow you do and I can't believe you got your heart set on me

I'm nobody, I just exist

I never make sense but you see something I don't

What is it?

Could you tell me what you see when you hear about me

Could you tell me if you knew all along?

I'm running to you but away all the same,

We always step back but forward again

It hasn't been long but I want this forever

What if I lose in this game?

What if I make a mistake?

What if I don't know you but I act like I do

What if there's things you'd never say?

What if I don't show you how pathetic I am but you figure it out and don't want me?
