Stealing moments
Wasting friendships
Killing relationships
Why do you do this?
Breaking childhoods
Losing obsessions
Taking memories
Time, you're so vicious
Moving the clock hand
You pretend to be innocent
Yet here we are hoping for closure
Bringing fears closer
While throwing away lives
I wish sometimes you'd just disappear
Time, you're the enemy
But aren't you a blessing too?
It depends how we see it
I guess that's just the way it is
Bringing dreams
Causing life
Giving hope
Why do we take you for granted?
Holding passion
Serving futures
Creating reality
Time, you deserve an apology
It's true that we hate the things we're afraid of
But sometimes they still give us peace
Time makes us feel like we're all out of love
But if we try it'll put us back in one piece
