Entustry

I often wonder

If I chased the dream I thought I had

Would it end me or would it revive me?

You need to understand now

It's not just a thing, it isn't for a moment

It's a whole different world

Once you're in, there's no way out

The haunting fact is there's opposite meanings

From many miles away, you think it's everything anyone could want

But it's someone's worst nightmare, I can't make this all up

You see the people living over there?

It could be the light they need to live

Or it could tear them to shreds in a second

I love so many residents of this two-faced planet

I don't know if they're okay

I don't know if they're living or they're dying

We can say that we know them, yeah

But we can't see their health

We can't see when they're spiraling

Or when their minds are clear

We can't see when they're being stabbed figuratively

Or hugged emotionally

"Don't think about it too hard"

But of course I'm going to worry

Come on, I've heard the stories

No one is really themself in that place

There's a public persona, a part to be played

Even if I love them for who they are

There's something inside that won't fit

I don't know how it will play out in the end

Will I say I wish there was something I could have done?

What if it'll be too late and we all end up guilty?

What if it's getting close to the moment we try hard to ignore

And then we're the "ones who didn't notice"

And we'll have to push through all the horror

What if the planet can't be saved

Entustry won't change

But the people inside are frail now

Please don't let my stars fade away

That planet

That planet is cracking

That planet

Is it worth it in the first place?

I worry for my friends who are on their way

Will it radiate them or swallow them whole?

Don't go too far

Don't pretend it's okay

Hold on and stay safe

Don't do the things you know you can't handle

Entustry is a dangerous place

So beware

Maybe you need to be scared

Because I promise it will never be fair

Even success can be hell
