Chandler Xu believed that her biggest character flaw was how indecisive she was. Even if the decision was minuscule and deemed unimportant in retrospect, her mind still treated it as if it was the end of the world. She was a chronic over-thinker, practically ripping her hair at the prospect of having to choose, even if she was just doing something as a simple as ordering a sandwich.

She believed her indecisiveness was a curse, given to her by the universe. She knew that she had been blessed with so many luxuries that she had to be cursed with a flaw so bad that it was bound to indefinitely keep her ego in check . . . hence, her indecisiveness. It practically ruined every aspect of her life. She couldn't do anything without being haunted by the outcomes of her decision, even if she had made the right one.

And that's why Chandler was having such strong feelings about whether or not that she should return back to Cobra Kai for another lesson.

The girl had to admit that she did actually enjoy the lesson that she had attended. It was the right amount of rebellious that she needed to satisfy her craving, without feeling like she was about to lead a pathway towards criminal activity. She felt free, almost as if the tight chains holding her in place had been broken. She could do whatever she pleased, without anyone telling her what to do and she liked that.

The biggest downfall was the sensei. In her opinion, he was the textbook definition of an asshole. He was insufferable, dishing out mean comments that were borderline bullying to his students without a care in the world. Though she was complimented, she still couldn't feel good about herself knowing others were being ridiculed for things they couldn't control. She wanted to say something but she was too scared to do so.

But the night before her supposed next lesson, she laid awake in bed, riddled with decision. She didn't know what to with herself and what would be the best for her. She didn't want to be verbally degraded but that feeling of empowerment that karate gave was enough to convince her that another day of practice didn't seem so bad.

Upon entering the dojo, she could instantly tell that she wasn't the only one having those kinds of feelings. It had been barely a week since she had attended her first class and there was less than half of its original students remaining. She knew that this sport wasn't for the faintest of heart, requiring its students to endure some bruises and bloodshed but she didn't expect the attendance would be as low as it currently was.
