It was a miracle that Cobra Kai still had an overwhelming amount of eager students, even after all of the harsh comments and exhausting training that they were forced to endure. Though there were a striking amount of quitters in the beginning, that trend quickly declined and the rest of the teenagers decided to stick around, somehow finding enjoyment in a sport that many would be terrified of.

Practice had barely begun and all of the students had already found their designated spots on the mat, dressed in their marching starch white karate gis. They all stood stoically and in perfect union, maintaining a serious facade that showcased to their Sensei that they were ready to begin. Even Riley had agreed to join yet another practice, despite the feelings of apprehension that continue to haunt her.

Johnny Lawrence took his spot at the front of the room and nodded in approval at his students' eagerness to begin. "Fighting positions." Everyone was quick to comply to his asking.

The atmosphere had immediately become tense with silence that the air could practically be sliced with a sharp knife. The older male wore a stern expression on his face, making confident strides throughout the rows of teenagers to closely inspect them, almost like a predator would to their pray. He needed to catch any minor mistakes with a close eye and instantly correct them before he could continue with the actual lesson.

One survey of the room and his eyes landed on Eli Moskowitz, immediately recognizing a slight falter of weakness in his stance. "Stabilize your base, Hawk. Keep your balance. Full rotation when you strike."

"Yes, Sensei!" Hawk nodded in compliance, adjusting his stance before continuing his punches.

Upon stepping away from the teen boy, he directed his attention towards watching the other students as they continued to practice their punches. His eyes were then drawn to Chandler Xu, who he instantly recognized as the infamous quitter from the week before. She had made quite the scene that had been permanently etched in his mind, so he was surprised to see she had returned.

"I see that you decided to come back to Cobra Kai after your little meltdown last week." Johnny spoke up, immediately catching her attention.

"I'm not a quitter." Chandler simply declared, not daring to remove the glare that was etched on her face as she continued to practice her punches.

"I like that attitude." Johnny nodded in content. "We need more people like you here."

The older male couldn't help feel somewhat impressed by the instant determination being showcased by his own students. He could see a bright pathway ahead for all of them but he knew that there was more work that had to be done before they could unlock their full potential. He then returned to his original task of observing all of his students for minor mistakes.
