Sunlight's pouring into the room. I go to lift my arm to cover my eyes and I brush against something. I open my eyes and see that Rave's head resting on her folded arms leaning onto the bed. I start roughly poking her cheek.

"Hey, Doll, wake up" I whisper. She starts to wake up. Her head lifts up slightly and she mumbles something.

"You're blocking your mouth Doll" I say. She lifts her head higher and looks at me.

"Pourquoi avez-vous me réveiller?" [Why did you wake me up?] she says.

"Parce que c'est le matin" [Because it's morning] I reply smiling.

"Idiot" she mumbles lowering her head back down. I inspect my upper body, all the ice packs and the towel had been removed. So I straighten up and try to get off the bed from the other side. Rave's head snaps up immediately and she grabs my arm.

"Get back into the bed" she says worriedly.

"I'm feeling better and there's no more blood" I affirm.

"Bed" she repeats.

"Rave, I'm fine" I assert.

"Reviens dans le lit" [Get back in the bed] she hisses.

"Okay, okay, fine" I say throwing my free hand up and fixing myself back into my original position. She lets out a sigh of relief.

"One day you're going to have to make me take you to a hospital" she says looking me over.

"Well that day it isn't today" I say with a smile. She looked up at me and smile played across her face.

"Yeah, whatever tough guy" she says with a playful roll of her eyes.

"Sweet cheeks, it's too early in the morning to be sarcastic" I say grinning.

"It's never too early to be sarcastic" she retorts grinning back at me. We stare at each other after that neither of us moving.

"Doll, I know that I'm great and all but you don't have to stare at me like that" I gibe. Her eyes widen immediately.

"Pshht, whatever Clay" she says pursuing her lips. She rises up and stretches.

"Hey! Nicknames are my thing" I say jokingly. She sticks her tongue out.

"Your lucky my parents are gone for the weekend" she huffs.

"How have you stayed such a goody-two-shoes when your parents are all over the place?" I ask curious.

"I don't kiss and tell" she says twirling out of the room.

"YOU DON'T KISS AT ALL!" I call out. I can hear her grumbles and she returns with food.

"Courtesy of the only recipe that I've ever made" she says handing me the plate. The hot dog was a dark brown covered in spices, shredded cheese and coleslaw was on the side.

"This is Lunch" I say taking the plate.

"It's a lunch kind of morning" she replies sitting on her chair. I shrug and bite into it.

"This is really good" I remark eyes wide. I take another bite.

"What were you expecting?" she asks.
