During my check-ups throughout the first day, I thought I could notice Elsa becoming more increasingly uncomfortable in her wellbeing. I began to get worried for her. then on the morning of the second day we discovered that her immune system was completely immune to any cold related diseases such as the flu or hypothermia, but for any other kind of disease was useless as she had fallen seriously ill an ear infection that had caused her to have an unbearably agonising headache. I brought this down to the sudden loud noises that her ears had not been used to for so long. This turned very quickly into a big deal as there was no way we could bring in a doctor to see to her ear as this would risk her ice powers being exposed as she was so weak that hey had already started to just leak out around her. Instead I was forced to postpone the work. When the workers turned up, I sent them home saying that it was a free paid holiday as she was not well. I'll just say that they didn't take a lot of persuasion as they ran out the doors arms flailing just like a primary school child who had been told about 'extra play'. I them got Elsa into a state where she couldn't worsen for the time being, and completely noise proofed my quarters into a soundproof box with insulation. She would then stay here until she got into a better fit state. I too had to move into that box as I could not risk something happening to her suddenly and me not being there to do something for her immediately. Once this was done, I brought the workforce back in. this was after two days. I couldn't delay work until she was better as I had no idea how long that this was going to be. Over the next while, Elsa was worryingly weak. She spent a lot of her time asleep or unconscious, I didn't know which a times. She had no appetite but I forced her to eat with the all too real threat that if she didn't it was certain that she was going to die. For the next six weeks, Elsa remained ill. She was literally white as a ghost for the entire time. After two weeks she had mustered up enough strength to be able to speak at a normal level again but the voice was still raggedy. She was still too weak to get up and a relapse of the infection made sure that she was sick for even longer just as she might have attempted standing up. After four weeks she started to read a couple of books that I had brought up from the library but she struggled to have the strength to hold it up. But the relapse meant that she couldn't even do that for a few days. Once the relapse occurred, I really started to see this as the possible end and reluctantly considered what to do if she did die. With much thought, I realised that nobody else knew. I needed to keep it this way so that if she hopefully did recover then the people would have no knowledge, but, saying that I did think the Anna had the right to know. So I went up to Anna's quarters and knocked on the door slowly. I heard her spring up and gallop towards the door and fling it wide expecting to see someone else, don't know who but not me. The smile that she had spread across her face at first soon disappeared in a matter of seconds. It turned to a puzzled then worried look. She then asked after a short minute of thought "What are you doing here?" I then lifted my bowed head to say, "Your sister. You know well enough by now that I have been her guard and the one who controls who comes in and out to see her. And you also know that this is a power that I take seriously and have let no one in before including you." She was obviously struggling to see where this was going but she stayed with it saying, "Yes, I haven't properly seen her once in years, so what is this all about then?" Taking a deep breath that trembled on the exhale, I said, "Well, now you will get to see her today if it is your wish." I thought she would excitably jump at the chance but she was surprisingly reserved with the idea of it, thinking it might be too good to be true or have some sort of a catch. She said "Okay, but why the sudden change of heart?" I then got to the point of the conversation, "Well, now, that's the tricky bit. You see, your sister is sick. No she is really sick, life-threateningly sick. So I thought that if the worst does come about that you might want to see her." I was finding it hard to say this without my eyes welling up with tears. Anna, however, needed nothing else to be said and pushed past me and started her route to Elsa's quarters. I quickly followed her. I was in admiration of her sudden courage as she did not in the slightest seem sad. On arrival at the quarters she stood in front of the big main doors that led directly into Elsa's quarters. At this point all work was done and the renovations were complete. Anna was clueless that these had even taken place. As I turned into the hallway and arrived at my quarters door, I corrected Anna and said "No, she's in here," while I unlocked the door. I went in first and told Anna to wait outside a moment. I had no intentions of letting her know about Elsa's powers as she was not dead yet. To prevent them showing through while Anna was here I put an extra couple of blankets over her so she was too warm for the ice to form. Once I did this I gently woke her saying "Elsa... Elsa... there is someone here to see you." Her eyes then opened to a squint and I went to the door and invited in Anna. She came in and knelt down on the ground beside Elsa's head. Elsa looked up at her and her eyes widened that little bit extra to see her more clearly. She then murmured "Anna!" Quickly, Anna said "Shhh... don't try to talk," I retired to my chair and watched the small reunion. Anna was not in the slightest bit sad; she didn't even look like she was going to cry at any moment. She simply smiled and started to talk "You see your guard there; he has told me a complete load of codswallop. He told me that there was a possibility that you could die. I don't believe that for a single second. Elsa, if I know you at all then I knows that you are a fighter. You will not die of something this simple. You will live on and be the queen in a couple of years' time and go on to be one of the longest reigning monarchs of Arendelle. To be honest, you have to be as I would make a useless queen. So you have to get through this to save Arendelle from me okay. See you in a week for a run alright." She then got up and said to me "Tell me when she's better, won't you" in complete awe of her I said "certainly." She then left to return to her quarters without a fuss. Then kneeling to Elsa I asked "Did you hear the woman then?" she whispered back without opening her eyes that she had shut while Anna spoke, "Loud and clear."
