As I said before, while Elsa was sick, the workmen had finished the work and we had to finish it up with our final personal touches now that it was done. Now, instead of the two rooms that we had before, we mow had six rooms. Although, we still were occupying the middle room so all the furniture both new and old could be arranged. The few things that had been slightly arranged were not of our tastes and needed moved once more. To start, I took down the sound-proofing insulation from the walls of my quarters which we had been occupying. Once this was done I then started shifting about the furniture, paintings and ornaments to our decided desirable position. It took about two days to complete this job. If Elsa was in full fitness then she would have helped, but, despite her enthusiasm to help, I didn't let her as she was still recuperating from the illness and was still noticeable paler in the face than you normally should be. Just to clarify, both of us were by no means tanned and pale as a natural skin tone due to the sheer amount of time that we spent indoors, and our resistance to the cold, but Elsa was visibly even paler than that. However, every now and again, she did get up from her armchair to straighten ornaments on the mantel or on desks. But, just to be completely awkward, she didn't get up off of the chair when I had to move it which therefore made it a lot harder to push to her amusement. Once all this work was done, it was, if I don't say so myself, a masterpiece. So this cannot go untold and I have to give you a rough idea of the layout.
