The others looked around as they walked around for an easy way up, and they found a large tunnel with the most ironic title, FInal boss. Kanji said with his arms crossed as he said, ¨Why do I have a bad feeling about this.¨  Rox said, ¨I have to agree with you.¨ Kanji looked at Rox as he said, ¨In case we don't survive this and fail to cure my dad.¨ He pulled Rox down by tripping him with his tail and then kissed him. Rox was shocked as he didn´t expect Kanji to do this. They then slowly pulled away, and Kanji smiled at Rox as he was blushing; The two were about to enter the tunnel before Yukihyō ran up saying, ¨Kanji, wait!¨ He looked over to see his mother ran up to him and hugged him before whispering to him, ¨Good luck, our little kitten.¨ His eyes widened when his mother said that, meaning the king is a death sentence if they fail to cure him. The two then got ready for the tunnel and activated their wings, flying up to the final battle with the king.
The two soon reached the top to show that the king was waiting for them, but the white eyes produced a mist before the king sent out a corrupted blast, which the two moved out of the way, splitting up. The king was staring at Kanji, and snarled at them before blasting at them before Kanji took flight, dodging yet another blast. The king targeted Kanji, who is the only one who purifies anything corrupted. He changed his arm to a claw and shot it at Rox, catching his weapon and hitting him with his Parasitic arm. He felt a sharp burn on his back before he turned around, seeing that he got shot by the speed guardian, besides the two time was fogged by forest and fire. He then changed into his dragonic form, a magenta one, to be precise, and this was the first time a massive dragon was in the open in the guardian´s presence. He used his fire to try to burn Kanji to a crisp, but Kanji flew around it before diving down and delivering a powerful blast to the chest as he roared out of fury and pain. The king's roar bellowed the sky as the roar´s shockwave made his wings unstable, crashing and landing on his side. Kanji tried to be faster than it when its claws tried catching them, but Kanji was too slow as he was caught in his talons. Rox tried to get Kanji out of the situation, but the king´s tail slammed into him, trapping him and causing Rox to cough out blood due to the tail´s impact. Kanji yelled for Rox as he was injured by the king´s tail slam before he looked back at the king, whose teeth were baring out of rage, and Kanji felt pressure from his talons that was crushing his body. He said, ¨Any last words, the guardian who stole my son´s name.¨ Kanji felt insulted by what he said, and he decided to play his trump card to not only save himself but to take back what was stolen from him; Kanji said, ¨I do. I wanted to say this, I loved you… Dad..¨ He then placed his hand on his dad´s snout.
Silence stilled the air as the king looked at the guardian in despair, and his eyes started to show signs of breaking free from the control as he dropped Kanji, roaring in pain as he held his head, suffering a painful headache due to his son´s words. Ryuu yelped loudly as a magenta mist soon left him, making him normal with neon orange eyes. He moved his tail off Rox and looked at the injured Kanji, who had his hand on his shoulder. Kanji looked at his dad before his father turned back to normal and went close to him, his scales scarred pink, and asked ¨Kanji? Is that really you?.¨ Kanji nodded before he hugged him tight, tears falling from his face. Ryuu teared up as he soon cried out of hope, and he hugged him, hugging him in return.
¨NO!¨ A new voice echoed through the atmosphere before the smoke soon turned to a flaming entity with soulless eyes as he stared at the two family members returning to normal from corruption since the prophecy was completed. The father and the son looked at the new entity as Ryuu went in front of Kanji, wanting to protect his found kin, and said, "The deal is off. My kin was found; I´Il will no longer rule.¨ The entity laughed before he sneered, ¨What made you think that was a deal; this had been my plan, and you helped me, but your kin gets in the way, so I´ll take care of the problem, PERMANENTLY. ¨ He made the final crystal float above Kanji with his weapon and brought his scythe down, commanding the crystal to strike Kanji, wanting to kill him. His father quickly change his form and used his long, massive tail to knock the two off the tower, taking the hit.
