Ah, it's gotten to that time of year again, the club fair at Hexside. I don't really care about joining any of the clubs but I don't have to go to class so I'm not complaining. I stand off to the side to not get in the way of anyone actually trying to sign up for a club.

"Heeyyy, Y/N."

A familiar voice pulls me from my thoughts. I turn my head to look at the pair of twins. "Oh, Hey Em. Hey, Ed."

"Wow, I'm surprised you showed up today, you normally skip the club fair," Emira states with a laugh. "Does this mean you're actually going to join a club this year?" Edric asks.

I hum in uncertainty. "Probably not. I'm kinda just here to support Luz, she's trying to start a club."

"Oh, yeah. Her and Mittens wanted to start a club for those books they like, right?"

"Yeah, and when I told Luz I wasn't going to go to the club fair she kinda begged me to come. Speaking of that, I should probably go check on them."

"Ok, you have fun with that, Y/N. We'll talk to you later," Emira grabs Edric and pulls him towards the different club stalls. "See you later, Y/N!" Ed waves bye before turning around and walking with his sister.

I start to walk back over to the booth that Luz and Amity set up only to run into them before I could get there. "Hey, where are you two going?"

"Oh! Hey Y/N. We're heading over to the book nook. Amity heard that the author of The Good Witch Azura books is doing a signing there!" Luz says excitedly.

"Wait, I thought the author was human?"

"That's what I thought too! So we're going to check it out." Both of them start to walk past me. "Luz you made me come today and you're leaving?"

"Sorry, maybe you can join a club while you're here instead!"

"Ok, whatever, you two go have fun." As I finish talking the two girls walk away from the school. 'Great, now I'm stuck here for a while.' I walk back to the now abandoned book club booth and retrieve my sleeping palisman. I pick her up from under her arms. "Saffron, I told you to watch Luz not take a catnap." She mews and does a little stretch. "I know you're getting old but Titan, do you sleep a lot." I set her back down on the booth's table.

"Y/N!"

I turn to the voice. "Hey, Wil...low?" I pause as my eyes focus on a familiar witch. He dusts himself off as he stands behind Willow and Gus, his magenta eyes widen when he sees me.

"Hey! Would you be interested in joining my flier derby team? We need at least 5 members."

"Uhmm..." My eyes move between Willow and Hunter. Willow notices this and moves beside Hunter. "This is Caleb, he's new to this school and our club's newest member. Caleb this is Y/N."

"Caleb..?"

"Oh, have you to met before?" Willow looks at us, awaiting an answer. Hunter panics, shaking his head. "Nope! I don't think we have." His voice wavers in a very unconvincing way. Willow looks at me clearing not 100% believing Hunter. "Uh, no don't think so. He just looks a bit familiar is all."

"Ok... Well, are you interested in joining the team?" Willow asks again. 'I don't know why Hunter's here but I doubt it's something good.'

"Sure? It sounds fun."

"Thank you, Y/N! You won't regret it!"

Willow starts talking to Gus about the club as the two of them begin to walk back toward the flyer derby booth. Hunter starts to follow them but I grab him by his shoulder. He slightly flinches and looks back at me.
