A/n: I don't know why it took me a month to finish writing a thousand words but this chapter is done

The past week has been very informative yet has also raised a lot of questions.

After my conversation with Lilith, I tried to do more research about the supposed "curse" and didn't get a lot of helpful results. I could find some stuff about cursed items but none really to the extent that I'm experiencing. Then there's my research into the idea of me being cursed and that's where my research came to a halt. My only guess is that the information about the curse is heavily restricted knowledge because I couldn't find anything about it in the library. The only reason Lilith read about it was probably because she was the head of the Emperors Coven so I'm sure she had access to tons of restricted stuff. I was thinking about writing a letter to Lilith about it but I don't think that's no longer necessary. Because I think I figured out the cause of these dreams. And if I'm correct, thankfully it'll mean I'm not cursed.

It's that necklace. The one that's been passed down my family. I think it's the cursed item. Recently I have been having those dreams almost every other day but they stopped for a week straight all because I had lost the necklace. I lost it somewhere at school, it took a week actually to find it and during that whole time not a single dream. Then the night I found it, put it back on I had one of the most vivid dreams I've had in a while. It wasn't that significant of a memory but it really felt like I was there.

I'm not sure what my next move should be. I know, I could take the necklace to a curse expert or just not wear it all the time but I feel kinda invested in this story, I guess? I mean the necklace isn't hurting me so it can't be that bad to continue to wear it. I feel almost responsible to figure out the hows and whys. Why was this necklace cursed? Who cursed it? And the only way to really do that would be to continue going through these dreams because not even my family knows where precisely the necklace came from or who owned it. All I know is that it belonged to one of my parents' mom before it was given to me. But that also brings up the question if she also experienced these dreams and it's not like I can ask her now.

It's just a complicated situation that I could spend hours theorizing and overthinking but that wouldn't actually solve anything (Though that hasn't stopped me from thinking about it).

And I'm not sure how I'm meant to talk to anyone about this. It's not that big of a deal, it's not like I'm cursed so I guess they didn't really need to know.

"Hey, Y/n. Whatcha thinking about?"

I look over at the human walking a bit in front of me. "Oh, nothing really." I speed up to catch up with her. 'I must have slowed down a bit while thinking.'

"You sure? You can tell me anything. Is it a crush?"

"No, it's not a crush but trust me if it was you'd be the first to know." We joke around for another moment as I look around the night market. "Hey, what are we doing here again?"

"Eda's taking us to get my cape fixed." Luz answers.

"Oh right."

Suddenly Eda stops in front of a darken store, the lights were off and the sign was flipped to say closed. She knocks on the door and calls out for the owner inside. "Hello. Prim? Did you get into the night juice again? Hello?"

"Is this thing on? Demon King to Luzura. Do you copy?" King's voice plays through the walkie-talkie in Luz's hand. "Sure do," Luz yells over to King.

King pokes his head out from his hiding place. "Use the walkie," He says pointing at the toy. "Oh, uh, right.- 10-4, Demon King. Luzura here with Echo, Delta, Alfa. What's your 20? Over."
