Now that the ninjas had finished their mission, Ronin and Natasha were no longer needed. For the moment, anyway. Their brief cameos were just that; brief.

The police commissioner and some of his detectives had been kidnapped by Nadakhan upon their return to the city. This made Ronin beyond elated, as there was no one to arrest him for any crimes he would soon commit.

And so he walked out the door whistling. "I'll be home in a few hours. Be careful of all the sky pirate shit going on."

"Ya, ya," she dismissed him from the couch, reading a fiction book. It was actually in her language, so she found it much easier to go through. "Por favor no te metes en problemas."

"Me? Trouble?" The thief practically guffawed. "The law is nonexistent now, kid!" No one could burst his large, egoistical bubble.

Natasha silently sighed in disappointment. Even with everything that's happened in the past few months, it seemed her cousin would never change.

Though she did think the peace was nice. The peace in her little area, anyway. She was only with the ninja every now and then, so it's not like she had to deal with Nadakhan and whatever bullshit he had going on out there. She had never even seen the guy.

It was very nice, actually. She couldn't imagine having to worry about all of that.

Once she got to a certain chapter in her book, Natasha folded the outer corner and shut it. She stood up, stretching her body, as she had been lying on the couch for a while.

She then decided to do other things girls her age did; walk around the city and buy food.

Considering that the attacks of the pirate captain were extremely sporadic, people made do with what they could. Sure, there were still a grand handful of chunks in the ground, but that didn't stop some of them from going to work. Such jobs included little restaurants like Skylor's noodle shop.

She was chewing on some of said pasta herself inside. A smile creeped up her face upon seeing the blonde enter. "Oh, hey. I've got some company today."

Natasha ended up sitting in the same booth across her seat. It didn't take much for the redhead to prepare another bowl of noodles and bring it over.

"So what's up? I kinda thought you and Ronin were a package deal," she joked.

The teen didn't really get that. She just said, "I... have nothing for do."

Skylor took that as her being bored and lightly chuckled. "Got nothing to do in Ninjago City? Something's always going on here. You gotta be on your toes when a band of pirates are constantly ripping this place to shreds."

She said this with a light and teasing tone. Seeing that the girl didn't react, she sort of paused.

"Huh. No wonder your cousin's always with you. You're either super antisocial or can't understand what the hell I'm saying."

Just her luck, it was both.

The redhead leaned forward. "Where are you from, Natasha? It clearly isn't from here."

The blonde swallowed her scoop of noodles before answering, "Very very far."

Skylor softly smiled. "I see that. What made you come here?"

She sort of glanced at the ground for a second. "Stiix..." It was all she could say. No better words for explanation came out.

But that was all her new companion needed to hear. Who didn't know about the ghost catastrophe in Stiix by now?

"Ah... that's right, Ronin did say that was his home." The redhead blinked. "Speaking of, where is he?"

Natasha hesitated before speaking. "Steal."
