Nya was gone too, now.
She allowed herself to get kidnapped by Nadakhan to let Jay through the Traveler's Tea, because she knew that he was the only one with the wish. And as Lloyd said earlier, that's what would save them all.
And so once gathering courage and optimism from his parents, Jay set off to search for a new team that could help him. Because what the hell could he do against the entire army of Sky Pirates alone? Last time that happened it did not end up well for him.
And so he began making stops.
Dareth stood in front of a judge with a pug dog. Now that the ninjas were gone, he needed to make money somehow.
But of course, he sent him away. "You wouldn't know talent if it smacked you in the face! Now get out of here!"
Back in the prep room, Dareth didn't even get a chance to be sad at the outcome before the single remaining ninja appeared behind him. "But I would know a ninja when I saw him! A brown ninja."
The man laughed, his spirits quickly lifting.
"Still have the suit? I'm looking for some help."
This excited him beyond means. "I've been waiting for this day!" Like a true ninja, he spun and on was his daily uniform. "Who else did you have in mind?"
It was nighttime. In the city museum, Captain Soto with a whisk for a right foot snuck around with a saw, attempting to find a more suitable replacement.
But Jay came to his rescue, far sneakier. With a smile, he held up the proper wooden peg.
The pirate grinned. He wouldn't even need convincing.
Just a little bit later, the sky still at its darkest, the blue ninja continued on the streets until he stopped at a familiar restaurant.
Before he could go in, however, the girl he wanted to see had just thrown out a thief yards away. The cherry-haired fighter smiled as she walked toward him.
"Let me guess. You're not here for the noodles."
He smirked.
Just as the sun started to rise, Jay had traveled back to Dr. Julien's tower in the middle of the sea. There, he found the faulty droid that was meant to be his friend fixing the little robot butler.
Echo Zane looked up to find the ninja at the window, enthusiastically waving him over. He saluted him with a bright beam.
And the day continued. Because the commissioner and his main team had returned from the waters Nadakhan previously trapped them at, Ronin could no longer get away with his crimes.
He was arrested in the middle of the street, five cop cars surrounding him.
The commissioner took the honors of handcuffing him himself. "Well, back to your old ways, huh Ronin?"
Before the thief could answer, Jay loudly whistled to grab their attention. He waved them both over from behind one of the cars.
The two in the street looked at each other. The commissioner then released him, tossing the cuffs in the air. "Okay!" They both followed the ninja.
Just one more stop.
They stopped in front of Ronin's home, knowing that the last person Jay wanted was inside.
"Okay, let me talk to her," the house owner started as he took a few steps forward. "She'll be out quickly."
"You sure? I think she'll be a little annoyed you almost got arrested again," Skylor replied with a small grin.
