Chapter XVII

Hestia's POV:

"Humahaba leeg mo jan, Hestia?" It was dad, he's beside me and he's annoying me.

"Shut up, old man." I rolled my eyes, he chuckled as he pats my shoulder.

"Akala ko ba'y hindi ka a-attend?"

"Can you stop being nosey, dad?" I said irritated.

"Masama na ba ang mag tanong?" Tumatawa pa ding sabi niya. Umirap lang ako because I'm not really in the mood to answer questions as of the moment.

This party is getting boring and chaotic. Everyone is on their own group, talking and catching up. I thought it'll be just us. I didn't expect to see almost the whole faculty in here.

"Hestia, Dad." It was Vera na kadarating lang at buhat buhat nito si Astrid na ngayon ay sinusumpong sa kasupladahan.

"What happened?" Tanong ni dad saka nginuso si Astrid.

"She wanted to fish." Vera chuckled. There's a pond nearby where there are different types of fish.

"Where's Rien?" I asked.

"With Cloud, Aubrey and Hera at the fishing pond."

"Astrid." I called my niece, she looked at me, her eyes were sharp. Typical Vera's. "You want to go fishing?" I smiled.

Her demeanor changed and she nodded eagerly. She reached both of her arms at me, kinuha ko naman siya agad. She's getting heavier now.

"You're spoiling her way too much, Hestia." Ani dad na nanenermon. I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah. It's a bad decision to bring her here with Hestia." Gatong ni Vera.

"It's just fishing, Vera. Calm down." Nginitian ko ulit si Astrid and kissed her cheek. So cute! "Let's go?" I asked.

"Go! Go!"

When we arrived at the man made pond, my eyes instantly roamed the place. This is quiet big and I could see lots of different fish.

"Tita. There's dada. Let's go!" Her little finger pointed where her dada is and my eyes instantly followed where she's pointing.

There I saw my sister, Aubrey, Selene and Cloud.

Natigil ako.

I thought Agatha is her girlfriend?

Nagmamadaling lumapit ako kung nasan ang tatlo. Nang makalapit kami ay agad kong hinila si Cloud papalayo kay Selene.

"Ate Hest—"

I could see their faces, they were shocked.

"Cheating is not tolerated here, Sandoval." Singhal ko sakanya.

She just stared at me with confusion in her face. My eyes then darted at Selene who was visibly afraid.

"She has a girlfriend, Selene. Stay away."

"B-but ate Hestia—"

"No buts." I said with finality in my tone and turned around. "Let's go baby. The air is toxic around here."

I said while walking away.

Cloud's POV:

"Anyare?" Wala sa sariling tanong ko habang habol tingin ko pa din si Hestia na naglalakad palayo sa amin.

I heard Rien chuckled.

"There, there, Selene." She pats her head like she's a lost puppy. "We've been there. Walang nakakaligtas sa galit ng kapatid ko. It's okay." She consoled her.
