Chloe awoke to nothing but darkness.

Her surroundings were pitch black, but what she stood on looked like water. Or, at least, a reflection of it.

As she looked down at her own reflection, rings and ripples suddenly began to form, almost like invisible footsteps leading her somewhere.

Without so much as a word, Chloe followed them until she reached the woman that's been popping up in her dreams.

She was just as beautiful as what the dread-headed woman envisioned – her hair, though slicked back, was a dirty shade of blonde. Her skin was perfectly sun-kissed and without blemish. Her eyes were bright irises of golden hazel with specs of green. And though her stare was stoic and unmoving, there was a seductive charm to it that drew Chloe in the closer she got.

Her surroundings transformed into a grand dining room, one with gray walls whose fixtures were outlined in white. There was a long table that the blonde was sitting at, and the only other chair left was the one on the opposite end.

As Chloe got closer, she saw the blonde begin to smile, taking in her appearance and making her feel bashful at all the attention. She wasn't used to anyone but Normani looking at her that way.

"An angel, indeed..." the blonde smirked.

Chloe looked down at her appearance and marveled at what she was wearing. She wore a pure white corset dress whose short sleeves draped downward past her shoulders. Her locs were shorter, coming to the bottom of her neck and giving way to the most beautiful pair of hanging earrings.

She looked back up to the blonde as she sat down

She looked back up to the blonde as she sat down.

"Courtesy of me," Bey said, still drinking in the younger woman across from her. "Sorry about the distance. I didn't think we'd get such a long table."

Chloe was too shocked to say much of anything at first. Aside from the blonde's insane amount of beauty, she was technically in a whole other realm.

She didn't know how long she'd be able to stay, but she wanted to capitalize on the amount of time she had. Seeing that the dread-headed woman was lost for words, the blonde across the table sparked conversation.
