Dinah was on her way to Normani's place after getting a text from Chloe.

Apparently, the dread-headed woman had been texting the ebony for the past couple days and hadn't heard back from her. She tried calling her, but only got to voicemail.

Dinah tried to contact Normani as well, but got the same result. She never knew the ebony to be bad with getting back to people, so she made the drive over to her place to check on her.

She got there in under a half hour. She knocked on the door and waited a few minutes to hear some kind of scuffle on the other side, but there was only silence. The blonde furrowed her eyebrows before knocking again, this time using her voice.

"Mani?" she called out. "It's me. You okay? We haven't heard from you in a couple days."

Waiting another few, short moments to hear a reply, Dinah heard nothing. Releasing a breath, the blonde did quick work of locating the ebony's spare key.

Using it to unlock the door, she made her way inside her best friend's apartment, looking around to see if anything was out of the ordinary. Everything seemed to be where it usually was, which relieved Dinah.

She made her way to the ebony's bedroom and saw that her door was open. Dinah walked in and scoffed at the sight of the ebony knocked out, her notebook and dead laptop laying open on both sides of her.

"Why am I not surprised?" Dinah chuckled, plugging Normani's laptop up to charge.

A few seconds after the device was plugged in, the screen came to life with the last site Normani was on. Dinah's eyes scanned the contents of the screen before her eyebrows furrowed, taking a closer look and scrolling down the page.

"Lilith, huh?" the blonde wondered aloud. "That's interesting..."

Giving into her curiosity, the Poly retrieved Normani's notebook, glancing over the extensive notes the ebony took on whatever she was researching.

There was the mention of Eve and the serpent, but there were mentions of other things that seemed so random to the blonde – women dancing around fire, angels having relations with humans, a group of women dressed in white...and someone evidently named Sasha.

Dinah had an inkling of what was going on, but she wanted to hear it from Normani's own lips. She moved to try and wake her, but the ebony wouldn't budge. She usually wasn't a heavy sleeper, so Dinah was growing a little worried.

"Mani..." the blonde called, lightly shaking the ebony to try and get her awake, "...Mani, come on..."

The ebony's lack of response was beginning to scare Dinah. She sat on her knees before slowly taking Normani in her arms, holding her upright a little to feel her skin.

She wasn't warm, so the blonde immediately ruled out a fever. She carefully lifted one of the ebony's eyelids. Upon seeing that the older woman's eyes were completely white, she quickly thought of her next moves.

She knew what was happening, but she didn't want to alarm Chloe after texting her what was up. Mainly because the dread-headed woman wouldn't know how to handle it. She may not even believe it. After slowly laying Normani back down, Dinah pulled out her phone and texted Chloe.
