Beyoncé took tentative steps as she followed Taron back to her domain.
The air surrounding her chamber was still thick with tension – that dark energy that her mate never brought. That, alone, let her know that whatever entity was possessing her was still active.
Bey was quite hesitant to even face her, let alone talk to her. But if she wanted to save their relationship, the first step was to have that difficult conversation.
Once she got to the threshold of her dwelling, she took a deep breath, Taron laying down by the curtain to give them privacy.
The blonde separated the curtains as she entered the dark room. The blue flames were still present, but weren't as harsh as before. In fact, they were now a calm glow among the dark stone that surrounded the room. She looked around, but there was no one in the room but her.
"Don't be so scared, sweetheart..."
Bey looked to the entryway that led to her closet, the ebony emerging from the shadows like magic. Though she was in a possessed state, she still looked so beautiful.

Bey watched as the ebony sat herself on her knees in the middle of their king sized.
"I see you're still hesitant to speak to me. I get it. I'll admit, I came off a bit rash the other day. But you have to understand. Seeing you with another woman set the poor child off. The moment she withdrew into herself, I stepped up."
"And..." Bey said, "...who exactly are you?"
She watched as the ebony chuckled, shaking her head a little as she kept eye contact with her.
"She really never told you about me..."
"Who?"
"Your mother..."
Bey's eyes hardened only a little before confusion filled her head. The ebony beckoned her to join her, the blonde slowly doing so.
"Let me start off by explaining exactly what happened," she began. "Ever since Normani fully manifested, she's been able to harness more of her spiritual prowess every day. Up until yesterday, it was nothing major. But it helped her to grow more in tune with you as her mate."
Bey couldn't help the tiny smile that appeared, looking down as she subconsciously caressed the ebony's hand.
"I knew she was special..."
