I woke and stretched checking the watch on my bedside table and sat up. Why am I up so early in the morning? I groaned heading to the bathroom and washed my face. My stomach rumbled and I got out of the room to get something to eat, I walked straight past the guest room and the door was open. I stepped back and looked inside the bed was messy.
"Who the- Oh.. Right." I said to myself.
I turned for the kitchen 'till I realized the bed was empty. I went further into the room looking around and she wasn't there. She went back to him. For real though? What kind of bullsh*t?!
I shook my head going out the room and on my way to the kitchen I noticed something by the door but paid it no mind, 'till it hit me.
I walked back out of the kitchen and realized it, she was curled up by the door with her head on the top of her knees. One arm falling lose with my guns' slide still in her hand.
I got to her and tried picking her up, until she wrapped her arms around my neck and I took her to the room she was sleeping in and tucking her in.
She curled small pulling the blanket over her head and I left her alone laying on the long divan at the far end of the room and falling back asleep looking at the knot she created in the middle of the bed, and thinking about how to solve the ones she left in my head.
