It's been a month.
Augustus is... a dream.
I've never been treated so well. His whole posture has improved. He's classier and hard working with his business,  yet the kindest man when he's with me. He calls me baby and texts me all the time. Just to ask me what I'm doing, or how I am when he's in a meeting.
We spent most of the time together laughing and loving. I felt myself being someone better. The nighmares had stopped completely and I was more confident about myself and what I did. I knew that with him I had no need to prove myself. All he had to know he did.

I loved him for it. There was nothing I could do about it.
In all truthfulness there was nothing I wanted to do about it.

I love him, and though he hasn't said it yet I know he loves me too.

I rolled over bumping my head on his chin.

"Ai!" I cried out bringing my hand to my forehead.
"Shit Iza." He muttered pulling away.
"It's not my fault." I whine.
"Who's idea was it to stay on the couch?"
"Oh hush." I said sitting up.

He pulled me back and took my hand off looking at it.

"You'll be fine. Stop exaggerating baby."
"It hurts." I said pulling a puppy face.
"Woman you almost dislocated my jaw. Be quiet."

I giggled.

"Sorry." I said kissing his chin.
"I'll think about it."

I hugged him again and closed my eyes.

"We going somewhere tonight. Pack some clothes."
"For how long?"

He shrugged.

"Depends on how it goes."

I frowned.

"Where are you taking me?"

He was quiet.

"August?"
"Don't be a scary cat." He said smiling.

I rolled my eyes and laid on my back getting off his chest. He took it as cue to lay over mine.

"Haha Ant you're heavy."
"You lying."
" Lying? Do you know how big your head is?"
" Well get use to it cuz its my seed you're gonna push out."
" Haha who says I want natural? the pain is unbearable honey. I'll have a C-section. Every time!"
" Yeah... Okay. Whatever you want. Long as you know it's only my seed you're pushing out."
" I don't know about all that." I said.o

He looked at me like 'you know better.' . I giggled.

"The fcuk you mean bruh-"
"Don't bruh me." I told him.
"It says 'till death do us part so dat's what we finna do."

I looked at him and I knew I must've looked dumbfound at his mention of marriage... with me!

I looked away when I felt his stare too intense on me.

He brushed my hair away from my face and kissed my jaw laying back down.

" So you got a thing for mami."
" Yes. Yes I do."

I looked away from him.

"Don't play my emotions."

He sat on the floor by the couch and looked at me.

He kissed me and asked.

"Does it look like I'm playing?"

I couldn't look away from his gaze.

"Hmm?" He said playing with my hair.
" No." I whispered.
" I want the best for you."

I looked down.
