Tis da chapta I been dreading ta do.
Luizas point of view.... *cringing* but here we go.
-----
I walked into the room lightly closing the door behind me.
I smiled running after the skirt with metallic details I found when we were at the store. A black Balmain T - shirt with golden words on the chest. I slid it on and nodded looking at myself in the mirror.
I slid one of the pumps on and skipped along the room trying to slip the other one on.
"Ai." I squealed falling on the bed when my rib started hurting again.
I laid straight on the bed and took slow breaths.
I heard footsteps down the hall and got up looking at myself.
I smiled and scrunched my hair.
Make-up. I opened the powder and used some of it on my face and neck, putting extra on my jawline where the bruise was yet to clear.
"Lipstick..." I said to myself looking at the options I had.
I picked a nude and pulled a cat eye with liquid eyeliner.
I can't take too long, I don't want him to get mad waiting on me.
I took a black jacket from the hook and threw it over my shoulder leaving the room.
I saw August sitting on the couch facing the hallway and Kellys sleeply voice saying...
"Does she need help?"
"I don't think so." He said looking at me with a smirk playing on his lips.I smiled and looked away not being able to hold his gaze.
"You look good." Kelly said smiling putting her chin over the couch looking at me.
"Thank you."
August got off the couch and took my hand linking it to his. I couldn't keep the smile off my face.
It was the way he did things, he showed no further intention other than making me comfortable with how things were playing out.
I for now felt like things would change. He's not like Pedro, but he's not like Jerome either.
"Don't do that."
"What?"
"You get all in your thoughts all of a sudden, and you don't talk."
"You just like hearing me talk huh."
" It's nice for a change." He said opening the passenger door for me.My eyes widened when I realized where we were.
"How did we get here?"
"Walking.I smiled.
"Told you, you just wonder off sometimes." He said looking at me.
"Sorry."
" All good ma, shall we?"I nodded stepping on the support to climb on the car.
He closed my door and walked to the other side easily taking the drivers seat. He leaned forward and tooted his horn.
The car ahead of us flicked the light and I noticed that was the car we drove in when we went to the clinic."Marcus in there?"
"Yeah. "He said taking off.
I looked at the bright lights as we drove down the street, everything was so alive. So big. I looked over at August.
I smiled.
"What?"
"Nothing!" I laughed.
"Staring at me like you see something you like."
"Why does it always have to be something?"
"Why shouldn't it be." He said with a sly grin.
