WALA NGAYON si Lightning sa kwarto niya dahil may inasikaso muna siya sa labas. Kung ano 'yon? Hindi ko alam. Kasalukuyan akong nakayuko dahil nasa harapan ko ngayon ang Inang Reyna. It was actually a good thing na umalis si Light dahil pumasok rin si mommy.

Until now, I keep on thinking kung bakit may sarili siyang kwarto dito sa loob ng palasyo. Medyo ang weird lang kasi.

I stood straight when Her Imperial Highness cleared her throat.

“September.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

“How are you feeling?” -she asks. “Is there still something bothering you? Do you still have a fever?”

“I am okay, Your Majesty. I am feeling better.”

“I am truly relieved to see that you are doing well now,” -aniya. “Your mother was so concerned about you, and I felt utterly powerless. I regret not being able to assist you in any way.”

“Ma'am,” -I shook my head. “You have already been a great help to me. If it weren't for you, I might still be stuck in that place. Thank you so much for not leaving me behind.”

“Oh, September.” -ngumiti siya sa'kin. “I never thought you had such a caring side. It's so touching that I feel like crying.”

Natawa ako nang mahina sa sinabi niya. Whenever she's like this, napapaisip ako kung Reyna ba talaga 'tong kausap ko. She knows how to speak Tagalog, mukha pa siyang Filipino keysa sa mga taong nakikilala ko doon na galing abroad. She learned that language ng dahil lang pabalik balik dun si Light at gusto niyang magkaintindihan sila sa tuwing magsasalita ito ng Tagalog.

Shortly after, the Queen's expression turned grave as she discussed the King and her daughter.

“I have also come to apprise you of your imminent departure. And, um, you cant stay long in the palace.” -naglakad siya papunta sa'kin. “You need to find my daughter as soon as possible. The coronation night looms in the forthcoming weeks. I found it rather challenging to fathom the pretender. I was unaware that my husband presented to me was not his daughter, I mean,” -she exhaled deeply. “Between the two of us, he should have recognized her. Dianna is her daughter; he should have known that.”

Nalaman ko lang din kahapon mula kay mommy na hindi pala talaga totoong anak ng Reyna si Dianna. Her Imperial Highness was too good; she's so nice, she's so lovely. Hindi ko talaga alam kung anong gagawin ko sa kanya. I mean, I hate her husband. After knowing na hindi pala anak ng Reyna si Dianna, napaisip ako kung sino ang ina nito.

Nakakabaliw isipin na kahit hindi totoong anak ng Reyna ang hinahanap niya, heto, siya pa yung nagpupursige na mahanap ang Prinsesa.

“Pwede ko po bang tanungin kung anong gagawin niyo sa nagpapanggap na Prinsesa?” -tanong ko ng may maalala. “Hahayaan niyo nalang po ba siya hangga't hindi ko pa nahahanap ang anak nyo?”

Dahan-dahan siyang tumango.

“I need to let her, kailangan kong maniwala na siya talaga ang anak ko. Kailangan kong hulihin ang pinaggagawa ng Asawa ko.” -sagot niya. “I need you to keep me updated from time to time, okay? I will contact my trusted investigator to find the real parents of that impostor. I need to have evidence.”

For some reason, naghihinala narin ako sa Hari. There's really something weird happening inside this palace.

I heaved a breathe. “Aalis na po ba ako ngayon?” -tanong ko.
