8. The Family

Srushti POV

I was walking towards the dinning room with a tornado of thoughts in my mind. Thinking about their reaction, I was worried and finally I reached.

Author POV

In the dinning hall everyone was waiting for Srushti and desperate to know her identity and Srushti entered and quietly sat on the chair. When Maharaj Dhritarashtra was going to ask her about her identity Mahamahim Bhisma spoke

"Putra Dhritarashtra, let her relax, have breakfast and then she will reveal about herself. Correct putri?"

Srushti gave a assuring nod. The breakfast was filled with silence. Eventually everyone finished having breakfast and Srushti started speaking

"I am from the future. My name is Srushti and I am from kaliyug."

Gasps filled the entire room as everyone was astonished. After a good question and answer session everyone believed Srushti and convinced her to stay here as she had nobody as her family here and she too agreed. Srushti and the Kuruvanshis seemed feeling comfortable with each other so both agreed on staying and letting her stay.

After a month

Srushti POV

I don't know why suddenly everyone has called me to the Rajyasabha. Once I entered I saw the tensed faces of everyone. Awkward silence filled the room. After a few minutes Yuvraj Duryodhan spoke

"Srushti, I will not waste your time and will come straight to the point. After a long discussion we have concluded that you are comfortable staying with us. Aren't you?"

I gave a approving nod.

"So..So.."

"Please do not hesitate" I said politely.

"So will you accept us as your family? Will you accept me as your Pitashree?" Yuvraj Duryodhan asked with a voice laden with hope.

"I need only 5 minutes to think can I think?" I asked as I was confused about what to do. I wanted to talk to mamashree.

"Yes putri, you can think for even a day. The court is dismissed for today." Maharaj Dhritarashtra said getting up.

"No Maharaj. I need only 5 minutes. I will stay here itself and think." I replied. Maharaj gave a nod.

I closed my eyes and called "Mamashree"

Shri Krishna POV

My Srushti is calling me. "yes Srushti"

"Mamashree what should I do? Should I accept the keruvanshis?" She asked with a tensed voice.

"Accept them putri." I said calmly.

Srushti POV

Mamashree told me to accept them. I will do as mamashree says.

"My decision is done,"

I slowly walked towards Yuvraj Duryodhan.

I went near him and touched his feet and said "Pranipat. Pitashree"

Duryodhan POV

I was sacred. Srushti was slowly walking towards me. I shut my eyes tightly not wanting to see her. Suddenly I felt someone touching my feet. Then I heard Srushti's voice and she said pranipat pitashree. I opened my eyes to see her touching my feet

"Ayushyaman bhava putri"

I blessed her and made her stand up. I opened my arms indicating her to hug me and she crashed into my arms.
