Milan smiled as she took in the scenery of her new home away from home. The small HBCU packed a lot of interesting history that made her proud of her decision of attending a college in her home state, South Carolina.
The tour guide stopped in front of the group of students once more letting them know not to step on the plots belonging to the Greek organizations.
Milan blew out a breath, she was getting hot. The sun was on full display shining on the college freshman as they walked the campus.
"It's hot as hell, how long we have?" One of the males in Milan's group asked, Milan was desperate to know as well. She finished her cold bottle of water a few minutes ago, she would hate to walk away in the middle of the tour but she would.
"We're going to stop by the Cafe right up here and then we're done." The male by the name of Daniel stated with enthusiasm.
The group finally made it to the cafe where Daniel gave the students important information.
Milan made mental notes and dispersed from the group as soon as he made it known that they were finished for today.
Milan pulled out her iPhone from her back pocket as she walked and noticed that she had one notification from her roommate, Paris.
Paris decided to ditch the tour, she was not about to walk all day in the heat when she could be out on her own tour getting to know some of the college men on campus.
Paris tried to convince Milan to come along, but Milan made it known that she was socially awkward and would probably run the boys away from them. It wouldn't be because of her looks though.
Milan is a stunning girl with smooth olive colored skin, a button nose, full lips and almond eyes. Her brown locs that are four years old went past her shoulders.
Milan is very reserved but outgoing at the same time. She could be shy and can come off as awkward around people who didn't know her, she was hoping that college would break her out of her shell.
roomie 🥰: come to the cafe!
Milan made a U-Turn and headed back toward the cafe. She noticed that the cafe was getting traffic and screamed mentally on the inside.
When she made it to the entrance she dug into her tote bag retrieving her ID. Daniel informed the students that they couldn't eat without it.
Milan handed the elderly lady with glasses her ID when she made it inside. When the unknown woman finished swiping it Milan gave a small smile and a thank you receiving a smile back.
Milan stepped into the busy cafeteria as students came to and from the options in the cafeteria. She noticed there was a station for international foods, fried foods, healthier foods, along with other areas.
When Paris noticed Milan she walked up to her and interlocked her arms with hers. The girl wore a huge smile on her face as she walked with Milan to the area that she was seated at.
"Girl, I met this boy. Tell me what you think about him when we make it to the room." Paris spoke loudly over the rowdy students.
Milan gave her a simple nod as they walked to the booth. Milan smiled at the boy who looked up from his phone when he noticed her and Paris.
"Yo, wassup?" The unknown boy asked as Milan slid into the seat across from him, Paris did the same.
"Hey." Milan said as she slid her tote off of her shoulder.
"So Mil, this is Terry and Terry this is Milan." Paris introduced the two.
"Nice to meet you. You a freshman right?"
Milan gave a head nod. She was sure he knew that before she even came inside.
"I got a homeboy for you, you trynna get put on?"
"I'm go-." Milan was cut off before she could complete her sentence.
"Yeah, just text me and I'll send you her number." Paris smiled showcasing her pearly whites.
Paris nudged Milan, she did not need Milan to act stuck up right now. Terry was fine to her and happened to be a senior. She loved how she pulled a upperclassmen on her first day.
"Aight, I'll have him text her." Terry noticed the innocent look Milan had, he knew it had to be a front being how wide open Paris was.

Sean paced himself around the track with Lil Baby blasting through his beats. Basketball season was approaching and it was vital that him and his teammates stay in shape.
While other students were out enjoying their first day on campus him and Deon, his homeboy and fellow teammate were working out.
When he finished his fourth mile. Sean sat on the silver bench pulling the headphones down around his neck. He chugged from the gallon of water that he brought along with him.
Soon after Deon jogged up and came to a holt, breathing heavily with his hands above his head.
"That was a good run man." Sean handed over his water and watched as Deon chugged from it.
"Man, I don't know where your mouth been." Sean shook his head and stood up reaching for his water.
"Just chill." Deon laughed while handing him back the water.
"There's no way, I beat you just now. You talked all that shit just to bite dust."
"All that running you do behind these females, you should be running faster than that." Deon joked.
"You tripping, speaking of females. I think Zoey's catching feelings man."
Zoey was somebody who Sean linked with consistently. He loved that they had that bond where they understood that they weren't in a relationship and just did couple things.
Sean and Zoey knew it would be a possibility that feelings could get involved.
"So what you gonna do?" Deon asked, he was more of a relationship guy. He dated a girl named Taylor whom he loved dearly, he was sure he was going to marry her one day.
"Cut it off, what you mean?" Sean laughed giving Deon a "I thought you knew" look.
"That's easier said than done, when a female has feelings it's hard for them to just cut them off abruptly. I don't know man."
"I got this, just vibe." Sean stated.
