You laid in bed as you scrolled through the TV channels. There was nothing good on, and you were really bored.

'Ring Ring'

You picked up the phone and held it to your hear.

"Peter?"

"What are you wearing?"

"Are you flirting with me?"

"I'm trying to see how long it'll take you to come down here."

"What?"

"Look out the window."

You got up and lifted the shade. He was standing in front of his car waving up at you.

"You drove here?"

"You said I was a good driver!"

"I said you were a mediocre driver!"

"That's not what I heard."

"You don't even have your license yet!"

"At least I parked straight this time!"

"What are you doing here?"

"We're going out."

"I can't go out. I start my new job in the morning."

"So, think of this as a last hoorah before you go back to the boring 9 to 5."

"Where are we going?"

"That's for me to know, and for you to find out. Now, go get dressed."

"And, what if I don't come down."

"You will." He said before hanging up.

You rolled your eyes before walking over to your closet. You put on jeans and a sweater and tried not to wake Riley as you went downstairs.

"Hey, pretty girl."

"Hi."

"You ready to go?"

"Are you really not gonna tell me what we're doing?"

"Where's the fun in that?"

He opened the door for you before getting in himself. You buckled the seatbelt as you headed down the street.

"You remember what you told me your favorite movie was when we were kids?" He asked you.

"Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"

"You loved that movie."

"I loved it so much."

He pulled up to a small ticket box and rolled down the window

"2 for Who Framed Roger Rabbit."

He traded a $10 bill for the tickets and began to look for a parking space.

"We could've just watch it on Netflix."

"Yeah. But, this is a lot more romantic."

"Romantic?"

"I realized that I've never taken you out on a proper date, so..."

"Is this our first date?"

"Do you want it to be?"

"Yeah."

"Okay then. It's a date."

"It's a date."

He parked in the perfect spot so that you could see the whole screen.
