"I even ordered pancakes for breakfast."

"I didn't know Peter would be here, so, I only got enough for 2 people."

"That's okay. I already ate."

You went over to the kitchen and made your plates. You shared your food with Peter as you all sat around the table.

"Happy Mother's Day, Mom."

"Happy Mother's Day, babe."

"Thank you, guys."

You leaned over to Riley and kissed her cheek, the leaned into Peter's side and kissed him.

"You guys are so cute that it makes me kinda sick."

"Thanks."

"No, seriously. I think my appetite is gone." She joked.

"So, you won't mind if I take these?" Peter asked as he reached for her plate.

"Woah there, spaceman. I didn't say all that."

You laughed and continued to eat your breakfast. Even though the day started off a little rocky, it ended up being the best Mother's Day you could ever ask for.
