Madeline opened her dark eyes when her alarm clock sounded, turning it off with a lazy groan and rubbing her eyes with the back of her hand.
She jumped to her feet when she looked at the time, remembering that she had to go to work today and dressed herself up quickly.
Madeline kissed her great-aunt, quickly grabbing the offered churro from the older woman's hand and nearly falling as she tripped over the threshold when she got out to go to her car.
She got in the Cadillac XLR she had kept all those years from her mother and stepped on the gas pedal, exiting her large grandmother's house just outside the city.

A loud roaring of the familiar dark car sounded as Madeline arrived at the front door of the hotel she and her two friends worked at.

"Stop showing off and park the car already" Katy grumbled when the Italian revved the car a bit more, earning glances from the people there.
Madeline smirked and did as her friend asked her to. Despite working a simple job like she did, the young woman was proud of the classic car she had and enjoyed, even thrived, when others noticed it.
All she had left to do was slip on the red vest and rush to the entrance where Katy and Shaun were already.

Shaun smiled when Katy flipped the bird to their other friend as she drove the classic car down to the employee parking.
An engine revved and a bright red car stopped right in front of the hotel where Shaun and Katy were working in, just as Madeline joined them.
A man dressed sharply came out of the car and threw his keys up in the air.
"Hello, sir, welcome to the Fairmont" Shaun said politely as he took the keys thrown at him, getting ignored by the man who walked into the hotel earning a few silent Italian curses from the pale woman besides Shaun.
He heard a gasp as Katy took his keys from him.
"I'm driving" she skipped out of range of his arms and ran around to the other side of the car.
"No, you're not Katy. Hey, hey, get back here. Give me the key" the man sighed when the woman got in the driver seat of the car and shut the door behind her "Please open the door"
