Shaun pulls down on the stop wire with two fingers making the signal ding and Katy gasp.
She swerved violently to the right in the next turn making all the people on the front of the bus yell and scream.
Shaun kicked Razor Fist back into the detaching part of the bus and gave himself a bit more inertia to make it onto the other half where Madeline managed to grab him and pull him further inside.
"Hold on, everybody! Oh, God!" Katy said.
Madeline looked forward to see the waterfront which was growing closer by the second.

People screamed as the bus flipped up when Katy drove over the line of parked cars on the side of the road, the garbage truck that had been driving calmly now helping stop their moving vehicle as Katy used its side to help them stop.
Madeline made sure to catch a woman who was about to fall out the broken side window by her backpack.
The two large cars finally came to a stop and everyone let out their breaths.
"Sorry. Heh. We make a good team" Katy told the now traumatised garbage truck driver.
Shaun, who had been holding Madeline at the last second, looked down at her to see her looking at his neck where his pendant was now missing from.
Ф
"Shaun. Hey. You need to tell me what the hell's going on. What are you doing? Where are you going?" Katy asked her male friend as he kicked open his apartment's door and rushed to his room "And don't think I won't be asking you after I'm done with you"
Madeline raised her hands in defence.
"Macau" Shaun said shortly.
"Macau?" Madeline asked him.
"Those guys are going after my sister next, and I have to get to her first" he explained as he shoved clothes into a bag and took a postcard from his bedside table.
"You have a sister?" Katy asked.
"Look, I know this is confusing. I'll explain it when I get back, I promise" Shaun said.
Madeline and Katy blocked his way out of his house.
"No, no. Hell no, dude. This is bullshit! I have been by your side for half your life. I get there are things you never wanted to talk about, and I never wanted to push. But a guy with a freaking machete for an arm just chopped our bus in half, Shaun! Who the hell are you?"
"I'm going to go get my stuff and car" Madeline whispered to Katy who nodded "You tell me what happens"
She already knew that neither her nor Katy would let Shaun go all the way to Macau alone. Hell would probably freeze over before they did if it wasn't already.
Ф
In no time Madeline was at Shaun's front door with her car and a few bags ready. She had even made enough time to draw out some money and buy their plane tickets.
"We're going to the airport" Katy told her as she got into the passenger seat.
"Already thought of it" she handed her friend her passport and their tickets to both of them.
"Damn girl, you work fast" Katy said despite the situation.
"Alright let's just go" Shaun said.
"Yeah, and you can explain all this on the plane" Katy said "You too missy"
Ф
"After my mom died my dad started my training" Shaun begun his explanation while he sat with the two of them, Madeline in the middle as always "From sun up to sundown, I was taught every possible way to kill a man. By the time I was 14, I could barely remember what life was like before she died" Madeline slid her hand onto his own gently and stroked the back of his hand softly "Thats how old I was when he sent me on my first assignment. I was willing to do anything he wanted. If he asked me to burn the world down, I would've asked him..."
"Beef or vegetarian? We're all out of the chicken, so I can only offer you beef or vegetarian?" the flight attendant interrupted him.
She had a large plastic smile on her face and was carrying a note pad around.
"Vegetarian would be great" Madeline told her.
"Yeah, same" the other two agreed with her choice.
"Okay" the blonde went to type their choice onto her note pad.
"Thank you. So..." Katy tried to make Shaun retake the story.
"Oh, were out of the vegetarian too. Now we only have beef" the woman said cheerfully.
"Beef, then. Cause that's all you have, right?" Madeline prepared herself to hold Katy back from throwing herself onto the flight attendant who seemed oblivious to Katy's lack of cheer.
"Okay, you'll have the beef" the woman typed it down.
"Yes" Katy sighed.
"And..." the woman pointed her pen at Shaun and Madeline.
"Beef" Shaun said with a meek smile.
"And the beef" Madeline parroted.
"Three beefs, okay" the woman nodded and walked off.
Katy sighed.
"Did you go through with it?" she asked Shaun as Madeline retook the small movements on his hand.
"I knew that I couldn't go back to him, so I just ran. I know this is a lot to dump on you guys" he said sadly.
"I'm sorry about your mom" Madeline said with a sort of smile.
"I should also probably mention that my names not technically Shaun" Shaun, or rather, not Shaun, said.
"What? What is it?" Katy asked him.
"It's Shang-Chi" he said.
"Shaun-Chi" Katy tried to pronounce.
"No. Shang-Chi" Madeline corrected her.
"Shaun-Chi" despite their situation Madeline felt mirth bubble its way up her throat and she held back a giggle.
"Shang" Shang-Chi repeated.
"Shaun" Katy continued to pronounce his name wrongly.
"Shang" Madeline tried once more.
"Shan" now the Italian woman really was having a hard time keeping quiet.
"S-H-A-N-G. Shang" he spelled it out.
"Shang?" Katy raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah" he said sheepishly.
"You changed your name from Shang to Shaun?" she asked again.
Shang-Chi had to throw Madeline a glare for her to remain quiet as she found it harder and harder to do that.
"Yeah, I don't...Yeah" he shrugged his shoulders.
"I wonder how your father found you" Madeline joked in wheezes, getting another amused look from Katy.
"Okay, I was 15 years old. All right?" he defended himself.
"What is your name change logic? You're going into hiding" Katy and Madeline continued to 'bully' him.
