°I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover°

Charles gave her a ride to her place. He walked her to the entrance of the building, where they both said goodbye and left.

She was now in her apartment, taking off the jewelry she had put on.

"How did it go?"Lia asked.

"It was amazing. He is so funny and kind and I don't know he is just perfect. He likes Harry Styles. Can you believe that?"

"Well, we do know that he has good taste. I mean, he likes you." Juliette commented.

It was hard for Diana to believe that she was liked by someone. Apart from her perfectionism, something that had stayed the same since her teenage years was her insecurities. She was not the conventionally attractive girl that everybody loved and had a crush on, so that definitely had some impact on her.

"I have to tell you something, girls. He wanted me to come with him to Italy for the next grand prix. As a driver, he can bring someone as a plus one, and after I made sure that I wouldn't be a pain in the neck, I agreed. We are leaving in three days, actually." Diana said with one breath.

"Diana, are you okay?" Juliette asked.

"You would never agree on something like that. Following a guy you just met and going with him to a country you've never been before? That doesn't sound like something our Diana would do..." Lia added.

"This guy has already changed you a lot, Diana. We will support you no matter what, but please be extra careful. You know that you have barely any experience with that stuff and that you don't know him well enough. Just trust your instinct. " Juliette said.

They were right. Diana knew she had changed dramatically. This behavior was just not her. But she was feeling a strong connection with Charles, and she had decided not to let that feeling die. She was done with hiding from the world. She wanted to live. She wanted to fall in love. She needed that.

"You are so right, both of you. I will be very careful. "

They did a group hug, like the ones they used to do when they were twelve while playing in Lia's backyard every afternoon.

"Oh, I also called my brother while we were together, and when charles said hi, Remy lost it," Diana said after she pulled off.

"You can not blame him," Lia said, and everyone laughed.

"You better call him and explain, though." Juliette said.

And that's what she did. She called her brother and explained everything. Even the hook up part. Remy was pretty shocked. He really couldn't believe that his sister did a hook up in the first place. And in the second place, he couldn't believe that charles leclerc was the guy who took his sister out of her misery, as Remy said.

The moon had just appeared, and the three girls were eating dinner on the balcony. Pasta with chicken, which was Diana's favorite meal, was on the table.

"So you are leaving this Wednesday, right?" Lia asked.

"Yes. I have to pack my things, thought. And I'm really sorry for this, guys. I feel bad it's like I'm abandoning you."

"Are you stupid? You have to go! It's a once in a lifetime experience. And maybe this guy is the right guy. You'll never know if you don't go. Plus, you can support him with his work and get to know him that way. You made the right choice, Diana." Lia said, and Juliette nodded in agreement

She always knew how to cheer up the people around her. Diana smiled. She was grateful for her friends.

"Diana, I think your phone is ringing," Lia said.

Diana got up and reached for her phone, only to see Charles' name on the screen. She tapped on her phone and answered.

"Hey," Charles' voice was deeper than what she remembered.

"Hi Charles," Diana said.

Julliette whistled when she heard Charles' name.

"Am I interrupting something?" He asked

"No, not at all." She replied.

"Well, I was wondering if you are interested in coming to my place to watch a movie. If you haven't made any plans, of course."

Diana looked at her friends. They waved positively at her. They had no problem with that. After all, they had both agreed that she needed something romantic in her life, and they weren't going to stop her.

"Yes, of course I want to." She said and smiled.

"Great, I'll pick you up in twenty minutes. Is that okay?"

"Yes, totally."

"See you soon!"he replied, and the call ended.

"Is that the <<wanna see a movie so that I can fuck you>> or is it the <<wanna see a movie so that I can hug you>>?" Juliette wondered and they started laughing.

"She will find out soon. Now go and get ready cause you have little to no time!" Lia said and earth-checked Diana.

After a couple of minutes, she was ready. Juliette, who had stayed on the balcony, yelled when she saw Charles' ferrari in the parking spot. Diana left as soon as she heard her. She got down and saw Charles from afar. He was about to call her, since he was holding his phone, but thankfully, he noticed her and smiled. Then Diana approached him.

"Hey," she said nervously.

"You look beautiful, you know that?" He said, and it was clear that he was mesmerized.

Diana smiled, and they took a moment to stare into each other's eyes. His green-bluish eyes were sparkling, and she was feeling completely lost when his voice woke her up.

"Should we go?" He asked.

"Yes, yes, sorry I was distracted. Let's go. " She replied in a hurry and got into the car.

While he was driving around the streets of Monaco,  she took a moment and started at him again. He was wearing a light blue shirt and a pair of beige trousers. She was able to notice his veiny hands since the sleeves of his shirt were lifted up. She then noticed his face. He had a serious but happy expression at the same time. Charles looked at her and smiled. She thought he was the prettiest man she had ever seen. She hadn't realized they had arrived until he got out of the car and opened the door for her.

"Such a gentleman," she commented.

"Always," he replied, and moments later, she was entering his apartment.
